It's a dsm that hasn't been beat to crap LOL that's pretty rare LOL just kidding I have subscribed to this one tho very interesting.

They are rare becuase that was the last year a Talon was made and they weren't even made the complete year so there is only a limited number of them. I think most people like the Talons more becuase they look a little more agressive from the factory.

I wouldn't say rare but they are a lot less common then the Eclipse.

Same thought I had ^^

But your average person will just see another bland sport coupe. Only a DSM enthusiast would know or care about a '98 awd Talon.

And the awd 1g Lasers are probably more difficult to find nowadays than a '98 Talon.

Glad you're taking care of that DSM though :thumb:

Engine shots???

Roughly 4,300 - 98 talons were assembled that year. Both 2gnt and 4g powered.

Beautiful car, factory rims (which i want!) and an awesome paint code.

Nice car sir, nice car indeed.

Well I think that 1998 Talons are great cars.;)

Oh wow, only 4300? Probably half of those were 420A's, idk what the split of awd vs fwd for the 4g63 was, but there could be only like a thousand of these things. Let alone the silver, which I didn't know was a color offered.

Definitely a cool car.

OP's grammar on the other hand...

..

First thing I noticed, don't think I've ever seen a silver talon and DSM's have been catching my eye for the last 11-12 years

I'm in the process of buying one. 4g awd. Black on black.

I'm pretty proud of it. When you think about how many went to junk yards over the years that probably could cut it down to only a few hundred of these things left. That is of course speculation. Not fact.

only about 1000 were turbo...with about 400 being awd. rare indeed!:hellyeah:

Yea what everyone else said. Super clean = rare, original awd 2gb talon= rare. Not about the color, but id like to see the numbers on an awd 2gb talon in that color. Im betting there aren't very many. Nice car man, keep it clean :hellyeah:

There's apparently 181 cars of my model, year, drivetrain and color (92 Laser AWD) :D Makes me feel all fuzzy inside :p

For me, Talons aren't all that rare here in Canada, there's actually 4 for sale this month :p Depends on where you live as well. I know some places in the States where 2g GSXs are rare to find, here they are rare everywhere. So as you can see, location plays a big part in this as well.
