I have manual windows on my car right now and i want to convert to electric windows. How do i change my manual to electric? My car is a 90 and theres a 91 eclipse gs at the junkyard with electric windows. Do i swap doors or what do i have to do? Thanks

see if you have the wiring harness in your door first that just plugs into the electric one would be. then you can just get the interior panel and harness with the motor etc and plug everything in. I was also planning on doing the swap but just by swapping out the doors and plugging the wires into the harness.

I already checked and i dont have the harness. Im going to paint my car soo i wouldnt mind getting doors from another car. Would that work?

That wont work, you'll have to get the harness from another vehicle because the harness has to get power to the passanger side. You could run your own set of wires to each side and make it work. Just get the conectors from another vehicle, and run power and ground then run wires to the other side to power the passanger side. May be getto but it would work

Not that bad to do, just do what they mentioned above, friend did it with his talon didn't take that long either.

you will also need the relay for the power windows and power doors one is behind the radio and the other is under the drivers side dash. I just converted mine but my car already had the harness in it. good luck

I'm pretty sure its been a while since i did it to mine, but there should be the plug ins behind the kick panels. just take the motor, wiring harness, and door panels. Then it will be bolt in and plug up. I had a DL talon, I bought a gs eclipse switched door locks, windows, and the engine. I miss that car. :sosad: But got a better one now.
