Welcome and greetings!!

Aaaand the creepers have arrived. :toobad:

You said it much nicer than I. I would have said "And the leg humping begins!" :ohdamn:

Oh ha. Ha. Yea like your all mature -__-
One comment and it's like blasphemy
Haha Mind your own

No but would you have asked a dude to post a pic when you welcomed to the fourm????

Very nice evo props on build! Everything about the car says im here for business but i like to party! Lol :hellyeah: Hope to see the dyno results!:thumb:

That kind sucks, whys it so dead?

Because the British actually have a motorsporting background other than a bunch of rednecks running bootleg paint stripper, hooning around a dirt ovals & 1/4 strips.

Not to mention the quality of driver education in England is second to none. Not like the retarded system here, where any suburban house wife can teach her spoiled children how to drive in her SUV. You actually have to go through real drivers education, and a real, rigorous practical (and theory) exam.

As a result people actually know how the #### to drive, which is why there are race tracks all up and down the country (which is smaller than Florida). Castle Coombe, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Silverstone, Millbrook, & many more.

The price you pay? The government allows insurance companies to rape young drivers. Nobody here would get insured on a DSM for less than $5k a year. Not to mention you have to declare every modification to your insurance company.

AAAH I'm just going to stop here before I go off on a rant.

That didn't take long.

What part of the UK are you from? I lived in Surrey for 14ish years.

Im from Cambridge

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Im sure you will see trackside pics of me soon enough :)
Yeah my build is getting there. Ive currently got my eyes on an EFR setup. Im looking into what best suppoting mods i can do to help maximise that turbo and getting it to fit of course.

Yes i do like to turn a wrench, i feel it gives the car a personal touch plus if i do it, i know its done right, double checked etc if you get me.

As for the strip, there are two here. Santa pod and shakespear raceway (awaiting the shakespear puns)
We have plenty of formula 1 race circuits. I live 10 mins from one they are so much more fun than dragging however you cant beat blowing away countless subarus on the street. Ive gotta admit i do enjoy that :p

As for learning to drive, i went to japan and actually learnt to shift, i shift so hard i get asked if i own a dog box, thats my little trick, nail the launch and out drive the oposition. Plus you will be amazed at how much faster you can shift in heels. Think about it, half of my foot is already at clutch height i only have to tap my toes down rather than push down my whole foot. Dont go buying heels now lads haha. A simple install of a heel hop up will work.

We do find it hard to actually get a license here its rediculous actually and as for insurance i pay about $2200 a year, plus $450 in road tax, i dont really care tho as when im driving it i completely forget about the costs.

Its the gas that kills us over here i dont know what it is per gallon, we buy by the ltr and it costs me for 98 octane (pump super unleaded) is $2.3 a ltr, costs me about $100 to fill up the evo :(

You came to the wrong place then, M'lady

The closest you'll get is to the effect of:

"something, something.. lets make the beast with two backs" and no iambic pentameter.

/Creep mode *off* :p

I pay just under 1k a year for full coverage on my 1g.. :D

I think I might love you.....

By the way I've found that 4" heels are best for shifting.
