A good coil kit is 1-2 grand.. Lowering springs or cutting your oem springs makes for a really stiff ride

Bilstien TC available on line PM me for link , so you say they are better than Koni with H&R Springs? Does anyone have the Koni part number for the 1G FWD and AWD.

Dsms didn't come rwd bud. Koni stopped making rear shocks for the 1g but you can convert 2g rears to fit

There's a thread or write up somewhere in here about the proper way to lower your car, stating that if you go with a shock/spring set up the ideal shocks to get are Koni' s because they are the only ones that have a shorter body to compensate for the shorter springs. I'll see if I can dig it up but I wrote down a whole page of notes on proper lowering of suspension.

That being said, if your going with coilovers, there's really only one option if you want it done properly, and that's to go with a full set, not cheapo ones you find on EBay. I'd recommend adjustable ones just go the convenience aspect.

As previously stated, the determining factor of ride softness is mostly the shock, which the reason the shock is there is to absorb the impacting forces of the road.
