I will be out there this week coming up! Stephen, Colby is a turtle, he never comes out. haha jk.

Stephen your car is nicely put together and it looked amazing in person. It was nice meeting you yesterday and we got to get people to come out for sure.

Hey lets plan for a meet! Anybody down?

Im totally down!:thumb: ...but so is my car:|

Its tore down right now. Upgrading fuel system, Installing SMIM, New Radiator, and ABS delete kit too.

I expect to be running next weekend. I'll be able to drive then, but it maybe the weekend after that until Im fully tuned and ready to rock (good tunes takes time).

SMIM? what did you go with? fuel systems? Details! :)

im the one from the races... short fat and brown? im alberts friend. I am out there all the time im sure I seen the car once before. I know Colby to.

Oh OK haha. That helps a "little". Sorry man I've meet so many people around LR in the past weeks its hard to remember them all. You werent driving your TSI, or I would have remembers that. What have you been doing to it? Is it rolling now? I wish we would see atleast a few at a time on weekends. Im looking forward to seeing it!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Intalling
Walbro 450lph e85 pump
FIC Hi-Z 2150cc injectors
Fuel Lab Filter, w/ 6AN lines to fuel rail
6AN lines from fuel rail, to Fuel Lab AFPR
JMF Drag Intake Manifold, & Coil Pack Relocation
Talor 10.4mm Spark Plug Wires
New 1G Radiator & Hose (moves upper hose away from turbo manifold)
STM's ABS Delete Kit (drop 30+ lbs & look much nicer)
& some Wire Tucks while im in there too.
All that should make a pretty good difference:)
Motor Mods will be 100% complete with addition of fuel system & SMIM. I might have to upgrade the main fuel line (we'll see), but other than that I should see 700+awhp out of my 79lb/min turbo. It'll be up to the trans to hold the power or not.
I'll work on a little more weight reduction (wheels/tires), and it'll focus on little things that'll make the car look really nice.:thumb:
Dude i can't wait to see it. You already got a nicely put car to begin with so its shouldn't take long to bolt everything together. Far as the tune, where do you plan to get it done?
I can't wait to see the car man. :thumb:
Naw it shouldn't take long at all.
For the most part Im ready to start installing parts.
I have to remove the 255-pump, and a few more ABS lines, but thats all. I'll finish doing that by Tues and start installing parts Weds.
I tune my own cars.
I like to do as much of the work as I can myself, including the tuning (so that I know everything about the car). Its not practical to have a build like this unless I do the work myself. At 700+awhp It should be fairly reliable, but still that's getting into the outer limits of its capabilities. I have to know every little aspect of how its working to keep it running 100%. <-thats kinda the fun part really:thumb:
OK...
Taking longer than planned (isnt that always how it goes), but my mod list also keep growing. Its hard not to want to do things while you've already got stuff taken out (makes it easy that way). That + girl distractions & damn cold weather..... Anyways, Ive been making progress:thumb:
Very nice build working my way toward e85 since we just got it here in fort smith and looking to put out some numbers by spring and I believe centerville opens back up feb 17 with bracket racing.
Thx man. I go back and forth with e85 (but mostly because pumps are so far away). If I had it in my town, or within 30miles I'd be all over it. I guess Im just going to do pump gas with water/meth, and race gas when I want to go big.
Hardware Install is Complete!!!
...Now just gotta double check everything, & look for leaks.
Then its on to the Tune! :thumb:
