He made the extra power to the wheels when he was running a manual transmission. The car is now an automatic, so it puts less power to the ground. That should be blatantly obvious and also answers your second question if you knew anything about setting up an auto trans for racing.

99% of the people here know my car and also know what i'm going . the car is making about 1300awhp on the auto at 36psi. the car dynoed 1075awhp at 25psi . i'm trying to get the nitrous set up the way i want and didnt have luck last year to to hit the sweet point but we still working hard to get it exactly where it has to be .
Us you know at the WCF the car was set for big numbers and was holding (first time) 900+awhp at the line to launch which fail due to explosion on the rear transmission clutch at the launch and the car end up in a ball of fire and smoke down the track everything on the engine bay was gone and the fire also went inside the car and burn everything underneath the dash board that i had all my electric and even my leg got some.
the car is 80% done fix and will come back this year stronger then ever with the same auto set up.

I love the " I normally just autocross, road course, or street action". I hear it all to often
but almost 300whp short?? I suppose its all about scale and the loss is a percentage not a fixed number...
Yeah...I sorta do.....
I must admit even us haters felt bad when we heard you caught fire. Don't want any 3/s to undergo that... Glad its coming back tho, I know a few people who spent alot of time and money on their builds and they turned out great, but then some unfortunate thing happens like a fire or they clip a wall and retire the whole car and give up...I just kinda sit back and wonder why give up after all that work over something so small....90% of the time the car is still saveable...
