Very cool man i was wanting to do the same to my foxbody mustang. Did you wire in the stock dsm harness and computer and how hard was it?

Who made the torque conveter and what stall is it?

I have a similar setup. U can use most any Gm converter. The wiring is fairly easy. On the main engine harness there's just a few wires to hook up to make it run.

that is awesome :thumb:
i dont care if its in a pinto or a vw bug all that matters is that its 4g63t powered :hellyeah:
keep it up man!

Could u pm me where u got your crank to flexplate adapter. We have gone thru 2 so far with less tha 20 runs. We r egging out the holes. Even with a index pin between the crank and adapter and a half gallon of loctite still fails. Thinking it is to soft of steel

Mine is made by Ken's Kustom Chassis.

The adapter Bill Hincher makes looks to be pretty dang solid. I havent had any trouble out of mine. But i might not be making as much power either. Im somewhere around the 6-700hp right now

Love it. You are right about Mustangs, though... parts fall out of the sky for them. LOL! Also cool to see that you didn't just opt for the turbo 2.3L that came on the SVO's of the early-mid 80's. I have seen a few of those built.. pretty nasty. Now, be sure to get some shots of it pulling the front wheels!

you did get a great deal on the shell. Maybe I should od this to my Mustang, now. ;)

sweet build, ive got a mustang shell for sale if anybody on here is looking to do the swap

Someday I want to build a notch. Maybe I missed it but what are you doing for a oil pan?

Nice build! If or when my auto trans craps out on me I'd like to do a 4G63 knotch back.

Actually there is a 4cyl RB engine the RB20 is a 2.0L Inline 4cyl. I think it's cast iron where the SR20 is a aluminum block engine.

RB20 is a straight six. garbage

Very cool buildup!
Like bastarddsm said, you stole that chassis haha. The welds and tires are prob almost worth that alone.

Very cool idea. Im a fan of the fox bodys though so its bitter sweet LOL. Not a big fan of the 5.0L. It was weak.

do you happen to have pictures of the way everything was mounted? im doin a 4g swap in a 70's gm and what to know what fabrication im gonna need to do, or if I wanna go a tubular route

Why did you decide on th350 instead of th400? Ive read articles about th350/400 hybrids that were built for towing/lots of torque for older gm trucks and they were cheap builds and seemed bullet proof....throw in an allison torque converter maybe? Oh yeah....you gonna replace the 5.0 emblem wit a 2.0?
