I've installed 4 sets of Kevin's baffles in customers valve covers now and all have fit excellent with 0 issues. Even when I tell him not to rush them, he usually sends them the same day and they're in Pennsylvania from Idaho in 2 days or less! They are very easy to setup as long as you have your old baffle for a visual, if not a simple google search will do just fine. Here are a few pictures of them installed:

I have another in the shop that just had his baffles installed and another valve cover next week getting the same treatment. Great products as always from Kevin!

Thanks Sir!
For those that where asking or will ask, yes it does fit the Hyundai valve covers.
The second picture Justin (19TSI95AWD ) posted is the baffle welded into a Hyundai VC .

I'll be picking up a set from you soon Kevin. Will be working on the valve cover here at some point. Need to get the AN fittings welded on.

Sounds good. Are you going to the shootout this year? If so let me know and we can meet up. I'm going to bring a few sets out there I think.

Love the R&D work, shows dedication and interest in quality and not in making money.

Ill be picking one up soon. Should be sometime this week. Ill let you know.

Waiting to get mine, do you put rtv or any kind of gasket maker between the baffle and vc for vibrations? I see they are only tack welded in a couple spots.

You can if you want. Most do not. Also you only want to tack it in place so you limit the chance of distortion. It also will allow you to remove if you need to . Vc's are know to crack on or car even when installed correctly.

Received my baffle and it looks great!

Old baffle is already removed, I just need someone with access to a aluminum capable welder XD

Are there certain spots that you recommend the baffle to be spotted in at? or is it just where all of the old pins are?

This review has been a long time coming and I'm sorry for that Kevin!

Kevin helped build a crankcase ventilation system pretty much last minute before a big race this summer (the Ultimate Track Car Challenge) to solve some oil-in-the-intake issues I was having. I needed new fittings installed at a minimum which meant cutting, which meant debris, which meant I better get the baffles removed and replaced lest I risk my relatively new stroker engine. Here's a picture of the baffles installed that Kevin took before finishing work and sending to me:

Kevin did a great job and his product is excellent. I compared his baffles to the OEM (as I had another valve cover) and they were exactly the right dimensions (at least to my eyes) and installed perfectly. Really nice pieces and fit perfectly onto the head. They appear to be performing their function as I'm not seeing any oil in my catch can now.

I highly recommend these to anyone getting valve cover work done that isn't running dry sump!

Im in for a set of these. Id like to do a catch can/breather set up and these would be exactly what I need.

I think boostedinaz might like a set as well if the price is reasonable.

If I have this baffle welded onto my valve cover that is already powdercoated will the welding ruin my powdercoating or will it hold up? I figure since it doesn't really need a bead but more like a tack it should be ok. Thoughts or experience?

It may or may not hold up. I have seen it both ways.

Received my baffles a couple days ago and had my valve cover finished up. They are very good quality and fit like a charm...that is, after the rivets were ground down on the valve cover.

Make sure to grind down the rivets where the stock baffles were attached, it slipped my mind when I gave my fabricator the baffles and he didn't grind them down before putting it on, therefore it hit the cam cap bolts when I set it on the head.

Other than that little mishap, they went on perfectly. Valve cover hasn't been powdercoated yet, but will be soon. Had a vibrant oil cap put on along with the 2 -10an fittings. I kept the pcv on this valve cover to provide the most optimal setup for a daily driven car. Anyhow pictures are nice

I would prefer to have it welded, but i may find another option so I do not ruin my powdercoat job.

I was having the same debate with mine. I just wound up welding it with a cold wet cloth on the out side (Powdercoat side) to suck as much heat out as possible and the vc got only warm. Not hot. I would do it again.

Looks nice. Seems like a lot of work though to just powder coat. Why not just pickle the cover instead of media blast?

That works too if the coater uses chemical stripping. If they are installing fittings that not the case however. There are many ways to skin a cat. This is the solution I feel is best.

Baffles installed! Realized after the fact that where my fab guy put the bungs is below the baffles so they're kind of moot, but at least it let me get all the crap out from behind the factory baffles. If I have issues with too much oil getting into the catch can I'll put some small baffles in front of the bungs.

I noticed by the pictures that a few others have done the same as I did. On the half moon pieces, the two legs are different lengths. One is larger than the other and I noticed this after I had them already welded in. Do they need to all be lined up or does it not matter which way the legs are welded in?
