Anyone down to get together this Friday? I will probably check out Sam's this weekend as its the first weekend back from Afghanistan and the car is running better now. I will most likely be out around 8-10 and I can give out my cell for anyone that wants to meet up.

Been out two weekends in a row and still no DSM presence out on Academy. It is kinda fun being the only DSM though cause I get to laugh at everyone else. Last night was holding my own against STI's and Evo's and a couple 5.0 mustangs that were really loud but not exactly what I would call fast.

Also wanted to add that I am 32 years old so while cruising and revving motors at each other is fun I am more looking for a group to hang out and talk shop and show off cars with. Anyone want to get out this weekend or even next weekend hit me up, I am willing to go anywhere within 30-45 minutes of the springs area to meet some other DSM's.

Once I get my Holset installed I'll be out. But that might not be till the end of January. I know a pretty big group of DSM guys here in the Springs, but most of them are FWD garage queens, so they're rarely out in the winter months.

Even mine being FWD doesn't stop me from driving in the snow ;) only the engine being destroyed does :(

LOL I hear you there. My GS with $800 snow tires blasts through drifts like nothing. But these guys think their DSM's are Ferrari's or something. God forbid it gets dirty.

Yeah. My spyder hasn't seen a car wash since maybe Oct, its still clean though. Thanks to it not moving. I finally got a new 6 bolt block and other parts, so if all goes well, I'll have the spyder back on the streets by end of Jan, or early Feb.

That is funny. I don't trust other drivers with mine, especially in the snow. Insurance does not care what you have into your car, they'll just give you what they "think" its worth. Plus my evo is easier to replace then the DSM. I will take it out though, if the roads are dry and such.

A meet and greet would be cool. mine is temporarily down (jumped time) hopefully well get a warmish day on a weekend so I can get the new head on. It sucks not having a garage:cry:

Ok so how about this weekend? Friday or Saturday night. Anywhere between Colorado Springs and Broomfield. Can anyone get out this weekend and play?

No one wants to cruise when it's 5 degrees out man... When you're teeth are chattering It's too cold to talk cars.

I'm most always down for a cruise (when its a bit warmer out). I'll check back every once in awhile.

I'm definitely down. Wont be for another couple weeks/month or so until its tuned though.

its always good meeting new DSMers.
