ive been working on my daily driver, my 1993 elantra gls. its a 1.8l auto with a 1.6l head.

i picked up a used turbonetics t04b 50 trim on ebay.

wired in a resistor pack for my 510cc injectors

also wired in a 2g maf.

I also installed a 1g knock sensor and the extra wire for the maf. also moved the battery to the rear. everything fits kinda its pretty tight. i also have a b&m transcooler.
 
LOL,its not done yet. but it was pretty fun before.
 
im almost done. i need to bring it up to my room mates shop and put it all together

That's going to be such an awesome sleeper. What kind of power do you think you'll be able to achieve with that setup?
 
i could hit 300. id be happy with 200
 
it was a pretty fun car before. its light, revs fast, and handles pretty good.

ive been working on the elantra some more. i moved the fuse box removed the auto harness out of the chassis harness, and redid the battery relocation.

pulled out the tcu. im going to be getting a forcedfour shift box

im also going to be ditching the evo 3 manifold and t3 adapter for a custom made log manifold.

This is a really neat idea! This is the kind of stuff I absolutely love. That is going to be one hell of a sleeper. Reminds me of the Buick Century I saw put down 374FWHP on a dyno.
People will poop their pants when you start pulling on em. :hellyeah:
 
im working on it. i waiting for parts to come in, and time. looking forward to building the turbo manifold. im trying to be cheap and i like custom fitting parts. i dont like the placement of the turbo and all manifold seem to place it in the same spot, which doesn't work for me.

I've decided I'm going to be ditching the small intercooler I have. Cutting my upper intercooler pipe down and hot pipe the car. Atleast till iI can afford a water to air setup and alt relocation kit.
 
Have you considered a Cyclone IM? It would help for sure with low end and midrange, and decrease spool up time. Just a thought.



It's gonna be a killer sleeper though man, nice work.
 
I started mocking up my hot pipe. I'm moding my upper pipe I originally made.

Do you have plans the enlarging the pinky sized hole for the wastgate? I could see issues ahead if its not addressed.

I did untill I found out that my down pipe doesn't fit. So I'm going to build my manifold and go from there. My wiring is pretty much done. I have to trim the alt wires down. Two wires to the the trans for the shift box. And reloom both harness. I have to finish the hot pipe and the downpipe. But can't finish those till I finish the manifold.
 
The elantra is soon to be 4g63 swapped. Pulled the engine and trans out of the laser.
