You cant, its impossible. Talons only fit talon trim, eclipses only fit eclipse trim.

Keep it a talon!!!! Don't sacrifice a talon for an eclipse. Talons are rare, anywhere you go. Eclipse are dime a dozen next to talon. If you like them both, buy one of each just like I did . if you insist on the conversion, jus do a good search on here or even google. You'll find the write up. Good luck with it. Get pics when you pick it up.

2gb(97-98) talons are sick! Best looking 2g IMO. If you don't like it now, it will grow on you . Is it awd?

I had a talon and I thought it would grow on me but I ended up selling it because they just don't look as good IMO. Everyone calls me dumb on here for preferring an eclipse but oh well. If the Talons were so good looking then why did they only sell as many as they did

You can change the entire rear to eclipse just fine actually. Bumper and tail lights is all you need.

I have a Talon and I did the Eclipse conversion. The hardest part is the rear bumper support. It's welded to the car, it has to be removed and relocated. There are three of them. Also the wire harness is a little different. You can get it to work but it's not a perfect fit.

This has got me pretty excited now guys a wuld love to do an eclipse swap

Just look for tail lights, bumper, and reverse lights and you could probably do the swap yourself. I did mine with minimal tools at the time. Now, there isn't a thing on the car I haven't touched.

When or if you decide to do the front end, its as easy as taking off and putting on a new bumper.

Talons look like a smooshed sunfire imo but then again im for whats inside, not outside. my bo
gger dont have doors and its missing chunks of the roof due to rust and rot, but that dont mean it cant run everybodies shit

Yea that's me I've even got vinyls on my eclipse. I forgot that my 100% OEM left looking GSX is rice as ####.

Talons don't look bad they just aren't as clean and refined as an eclipse. This of course is only my opinion. I sold my talon so someone else could enjoy it instead of converting it to an eclipse.

Idk, 2g eclipse look better than 2g talons, but its the complete opposite with 1gs . I love my talon, even though its just a yard ornament right now

If it is so ugly, then why are you selling your eclipse GST for a Talon TSi. (basically the same thing) Just to swap to eclipse...

My point exactly... You sold it so someone else could enjoy it. Now if the op saw things the SamE way, he would save the next guy the hassle of looking so hard for a rare 2gb talon tsi AWD! Like myself . I got mine shipped to me from Texas because there weren't any 97-98 awd talons up here, let alone in good/rust free condition if there was. But I also understand that maybe 2g awd's in general might not be an abundance in the area the op is from. So pick up whatever you get your hands on type of deal.

None the less.. Congrats on the new purchase and show us some pics of her when you can. Any 2g awd=WIN

While I don't like Talons as much I can appreciate them for what they are. I originally planned on converting it but I figured that I might as well just buy what I want instead of spending all that money to make it look like an eclipse.

But like you said, and 2g AWD is pure sex.
