I promise I can't wait for this to come around. To be able to line up with all those exotic cars in one location to race and IT"S LEGAL !!!!! What more can you ask for?

If 5th doesn't give up the ghost and I keep the head on the block.. I would be thrilled to be middle of the pack there.

From a 60 roll @ 2700lbs with the HX52 on full song, I have to imagine I'll give some folks a hard time.

Any ideas for tires on a 15x8 wheel that'll hook up and won't come apart at 200-210 mph?

I've only really researched the LSR tires for the salt, but those are skinnies .. would an ET Street or other radial be good at those speeds for that long?

No 60 or 90 roll. More like 20mph or just under.

I see, gonna need to play with Link and the boost solenoid a bit then as my old 59mm in the last chassis wouldn't really grab till top of third haha

Any thoughts on tires for that speed/distance?

I'm running 16X8 RX7 wheels and Sumitomo HTR+. They rated over 150MPH. My boy Evo 2 ran 200MPH on the same 225/50ZR tire. They hook damn good to. I mean DAMN GOOD ! Should be no issue for this event.

Any more info on registration?

they keeping things under wrap. I can tell you this. There will not be alot of cars allowed to entered per day so if you really want to race best register early as you can. I'll updated info as it comes out

I don't have a fully race worthy car...yet. But wouldn't mind spectating! Chicago represent!

Sounds interesting im close enough.

I definitely foresee a roadtrip coming up soon. The video in 1080 HD was just rediculous, and the sound of that Gallardo...

Look it's not all about having a fast car. It's not! The crew I roll with called Beyond Boost and we going to show how its done. Just come on out, have fun and enjoy the show. Having a good time is what it's about. I'm telling you it's going to be bananas. On top of that there are these supra guys who talk about DSM's like we ain't shit. On another forum a supra guy said to me "he knows how I feel and he would be embarrassed to own a DSM to" . That shit right there......really rub me the wrong way!

Ya.. that's a bit immature to say the least, especially coming from the owner of another Japanese import tuner that will likely be getting waxed by Americans, Germans and Italians (and possibly some DSMs too depending on who shows up) all day every day at this event.

Is this a big power supra with a competent driver, or just a mkIV with a single and some ego?

I picked up some 225/50 Hankook Ventus RS3s in the hope that I'll actually be able to hook for this event. My car isn't setup for shorter drags... LSD, poly bushings, solid motor mounts and electronic boost control should help though.

Hoping to be on the dyno in the next 5-6 weeks!

he makes about 1000whp. Not sure how well he drives but he's not talking the same garbage now. The more I respond he's catching on to something most don't. I'm a lil smarter then most think and I know a tab bit more then I let on . I am definitely entering and i'm bringing a few friends and associates from in and out of state !! And not just DSM's.

Oh and they allow passengers on your runs . Who wants to ride shotgun with me ?

here is some info they gave. site tech inspections

you have a tech sheet that needs to be pre filled out. you will be in a staging lane/ tech lane and someone will come by to get your paper and look at your car.
