This ought to be a fun event next year. What a great time my wife and I had at the 20th Shootout. My wife don't normally like cars but she had fun and smiled a little. :)

I heard a rumor that you were combining stock appearing classes for DSMs and EVOs. So, it seems there's a stock appearing class (SAT) for ALL stock appearing turbo cars (including EVO's, right?) , and then a separate stock appearing turbo class for the EVO's (ESA)?

Am I misinterpretting something?

For SAT, it says ANY stock appearing turbo, does that mean you can use an Evo style compressor housing on a DSM? Or does it have to be model specific(14b=DSM, etc)?

Why are awd only allowed for the dyno event on friday? I just ask for those that have spyders that havent done the awd swap or the rest of the fwd people.

Is to much of a headache to switch from awd to 2wd on the day of the dyno event. Everything I've heard on the facebook page for Buschur Racing is if they do the SAT class you will able to runany stock appearing turbo on your car. Correct me if I am wrong Mr. Buschur but that is how I have read it.

dragged my wife to several of the 3/s meets guess its time to start bringing her to dsm shootouts. i am definitly in

The SAT class is a "tin can" class. Gutted Quick 16 style race cars is what will primarily end up in it I'd guess. The class is for ANY DSM/EVO as the rules state and they can run ANY turbo that appears stock on the outside from any DSM/EVO ever built.

The EVO ESA class is still the same as always, stock appearing and an actual street car.

It states clearly that ANY stock appearing turbo from ANY car can be used on ANY car. So yes, you can use an EVO turbo on a DSM.

Yes, it is too big a PITA to switch back and forth for the $50 pulls we are offering. Yes, ANY TURBO can be used from ANY DSM OR EVO on ANY car legal for the class.

How about an outlaw class for those who have a tube chassis rwd. I hate to go all the way up there to run an 8 sec car in the bracket class

Like I've said in the past about this subject of tube chassis cars, when there are enough of them to actually make a class I will do it, until then I'm not making a class for two cars to play in.

I'll be traveling all the way from Japan for this event, hope it turns out as awesome as last year! :)

I am planning on being there also. Going to be a race filled summer this upcoming summer.
