Hey guys, I need some advice on what I should get for my friend for Christmas. He has a '95 gsx w/ a 2.4 g4cs making around 530hp and it has basically everything, but I thought I might be able to find some little knick-knack that he doesn't have.

I was thinking I don't really want to spend over $20 cause I don't know if he'll like what I get him anyway.

So far I've come up with maybe a crankcase breather filter for his oil catch can since he just lost his, and maybe a GReddy magnetic drain plug like this one: link

I'd like to order from places like stm, extremepsi, jnztuning, map, rre, etc.

What kind of things can you think of that a DSMer might like?

My girlfriends got me an STM hoodie in like '08 or '09. This is by far my most favorite article of clothing. Picture pending.

Ignore the nasty yellow hue. My blinds were down in the room with the sunlight emitting an eery yellow-haze throughout the room!

A honda civic, because theyre a reliable set of wheels for when my DSM breaks down.

Actually I just realized you're from Nauvoo - not too far from me and I'm buddies with people there and around the area who come racing with us in the summer. Who's car you talking about? I didn't know there were any actual good running DSM's around here anymore haha

I can't say how good this is but I asked for this rechargeable LED light with a magnetic base and hook. It bends so the light is directed where you need it.
Stanley BF0109 BarFlex Work Light - Amazon.com

My GF doesn't know I know but she got me this which looks like it might be useful too:
Amazon.com: Tooluxe 40463L LED Flashlight with Telescope Magnetic Pickup Flex Head: Home Improvement

I also asked for a head lamp as I actually didn't have one of those. This one seemed to have good output and had good reviews:
Amazon.com: Black Diamond Spot Headlamp: Sports & Outdoors

A couple more ideas:

A push button starter. Yeah most think they're stupid but for a car with cams that, at least for me, is pretty easy to stall, it's nice to just move my hand a little and push a button to restart the car rather than lean forward and reach around the wheel to turn the key. Most people don't get it but it's a small thing that makes my car that much nicer to drive. I simply installed mine in place of the cigarette lighter and relocated the lighter to just in front of the armrest storage. I think I picked up mine for only like $20 a long time ago.

A Fumoto oil drain valve. Man I love these. No more oil on my hands during oil changes.

Get him a front and rear prothane insert motor mounts.

I would like an automatic awd 98 talon. Thats it, not too much I think.

All of you should be wishing for a car that runs longer than a week before it needs to be repaired again.

Lol, yeah my friend Wyatt just bought a car from a user on here (95gsxblur). We drove over to indianapolis to get it a few months ago. Wyatt has a '98 ws-6 trans am you might have seen running around, has two red stripes on it. Anyway, yeah it runs ridiculously well, I feel like it was built well enough to drive daily but it'll be kept in a heated shop for the winter and pampered all its life :) It'll be fun when that 1/8mile track opens in keokuk

A heated 1000ft^2 garage.
he's got that, it's extremely handy

Good thinking, i actually did just get one of those for my buddy, this one from deal extreme: link, i highly recommend it, $5 and probably around 80 to 100 lumens, 20 hr battery life

I had no idea push button starters were that cheap, I think i'll have to find one for my car for sure.
