Long story short: head gasket blew, replaced it with a new head that a buddy had decked and wasn't using. Put everything back on(this time used a copper sprayed hg instead of a cometic) and put o rings in the block this time instead of leaving them out like the previous owner did. Car has NOT started yet, it's cranking over very slowly but not starting and I noticed this white mixture coming out from what looks like between the head and block right near the water pump. It's white. Can someone please tell me anything. I am hoping the HG isn't blown and that this is something simple. Also, the main reason the car hasn't started also is because of electrical problems. Now my Injector duty is reading 0 whenever I crank it.

most likely you never flushed out all the old oil/coolant mixture from the block and thats what your seeing.

Is there any other steps I needed to do beside the normal changing the oil steps(taking screw out of pan, taking filter off and put everything back together? Also, why is it coming out between the block/head. Should I start to assume the HG didn't seal properly or something?

That looks like oil and coolant mixed. Even if you didnt flush the block/head its still not normal to leak like that reguardless. Definetly check your coolant and oil to see if its mixing.

I've checked the coolant under the cap and it is green with no oil, and then I checked the oil both under the cap and dipstick and haven't seen any mixture. I've never seen it this white before even when the hg did pop

i've had a HG pop go both way, lots of mixture and none at all (depends on where it blows really) last one that went i had to flush 2 .5 quarts through it at a time (starting for only 30 second or so to build pressure and mix with the water in block then i'd drain and repeat) even after 6 flushes there was some white coming up and my machinist said to runit a little longer if i was sure i got the majority out and evaporation would get the rest pretty fast if it was just minor amounts hiding in there, and sure enough it was, eveap[ped out in about 30 minutes

Poop. That appears to be fish and refried beans, if I am not mistaken...

....or oil and water sludge.

(I'm going to stick with poop though, because poop is always funnier than oil/water sludge)
