so i have a question i have a guy selling me a good deal on some used parts. he sent some pics and stuff to me but wants me to send money by walmart money gram. he seems legit and has been very nice just a little nervous not using paypal where if i dont get what i payed for i can get money back.

The only way I'd send it any other way than paypal, is if it was someone I knew very well.

Sending it Moneygram offers no protection like paypal does. I personally wouldn't do it.

Don't do it. It'll probably be a scam. If your gut instinct tells you not to do it, don't do it. We've have lots of tuners get scammed by people with great deals and only doing moneygram. If he doesn't accept PayPal or some escrow service back out

What is his "Classifed Rating"?

Have you even looked that far?

I would not be dealing with him.

If he has been a member that long, and not posted to become proven, and get know some on the board.

Absolutely not, there is no reason that anyone should ever consider that option. That or sending paypal as a "gift". Both equally as stupid.

totally a scammer, good job on posting about the situation. Now maybe there could be another scam artist removed from the site.

I'm on the same side as everyone else, I wouldn't do it. At least paypal you can dispute it if something goes wrong. I've purchased stuff off tuners before and have always used paypal, but I wouldn't trust someone posting ads with no real history on this forum.
