Where are you guys getting this work done on your valve covers (shaving/coating)? All the shops I've tried contacting have terrible service and never pick up or reply to emails.

do it yourself, how ever you can get rid of the letters i know people have used a grinder but its on aluminum so its not the best choice and you're going to have to sand it smooth...Then go and have it powder coated or high heat paint

I have spent months trying to get my engine bay worthy enough to post a pic in this very thread.

So, be BRUTALLY honest. What do you think??

From March....

I'd say that's a hell of a difference! For the record, I like the stickers on the underside of the hood. Tasteful advertising of the parts on your car, and people only have to know what you put on the car when you choose to show them via putting the hood up. I like! :thumb:

That is about it on my bay for now. Has come a long way. Deleted a lot of stuff plan on deleting the complete air box out of the car so the heater core and evaporator outlets will be removed soon.

I love the ambition, hope we see lots more kick ass progress pics and updates of these builds!

Here is my engine bay, at the time i haven't cleaned the bay completely but i did recently so ill get a new picture.

This is part of the cars scheme, very unsuspecting exterior aka named Krusty DSM.

I'd like to contribute my engine bay to this thread. It isn't 100% done and certainly not up to the level of some of the cars in this thread but this is my first attempt.
