This is a tech forum, not the vendor forum. Nothing in here should be posted like a group buy, WTB, etc. This is for technical discussion about the fender flares. If someone in here (who has proper ability/authority) wants to start a group buy, you'll see it pop up in the vendor forum.

:thumb: a big thumbs up on a 2g originality.
after searching all morning I do believe they are nissan fender flares. Obviously a cheap knock off as you can tell by the bubbly quality but the same design none the less.

Really good look do you have any plans of spitting the fronts so that the front bumper may be removed without removing the flares too?

The flares on that 2g look nothing like the flares i had on my Talon that were 240z flares. The 240z flares aren't all 4 identical for and aren't that large.

I can get you those measurements in a few.

Sorry about that guys, I wasn't cleared to promote my site yet and my post got deleted.

I've applied for a supporting vendor role on here and we'll see how fast it gets approved.

What I can say is the Wide ZG Flares WILL fit your cars!

From replies that I've gotten is the 2g Eclipse is the wheel well width is approx. 36" across in front/rear (can I get a confirmation on this please?) and the Talon is approx. 31"... BOTH of which are PERFECT for Wide ZG Flares.

The difference between regular zg flares and Wide ZG Flares are 2 things... the width & flexibility of them, regular zg flares are pretty flat looking and don't provide a whole lot of "flare" in my opinion.

Regular ZG Flares width - 2-1/4"
Wide ZG Flares width - 3-1/4" Front & 3-5/8" Rear

The wheel well width is the same for both the eclipse and talon. Their frames are identical.

Can you post a pic of where to measure exactly? I can give you the exact dimensions after.

I agree with Gofer, if they were glassed in and looked more OEM rather than screwed on plastic pieces it would be better. Don't really like how it is just cut in around the fuel door either.

Like the concept though.

I agree with you. I prefer the smooth finish look to the rugged. This is a DSM not an off road racer.

Do the wider wheels reduce roll, and provide more stability?

Just picked up a pair of 240z CB fender flares and I must say they make the car look way more aggressive. Looks like I'm gunna need new rims and tires now.

Do you need Wheel spacers to push the wheels out to the fender flare or just purchase offset wheels?

I suppose you can run spacers but I personally think it wouldn't look good and the wheels would be kinda unsafe especially with thick spacers.

I've ran rpf1 18x9.5 and 10.5 in the past on a supra - et15 all around. there is no diff in concave angle or lip depth on either wheel, just actual width of the barrel.

By the looks of it, say this is either size of rpf1 - you could def run the 9.5 et15 w stretched tire without flares - and maybe the 10.5 w lots of fender work..

for ref, I'm running 18x9.75 cheap xxr's w 225/40 without flares - just pulled fender in the front and rolled in the rear (rubs here and there but if you drive smart - it isn't bad) No passengers in back OBV :D

(by looks of the black car's front lip - I think I'm a lil lower too.)

I did not think of the spacer's affect on the car's stability and handling. I saw the picturs with the more subtle flares, and those appear to be more in line with the natural contours that make the 2G such a sultry vehicle in the first place.

Did you notice what forum this is posted in?
The difference between your car and the one in question is that yours appears to be set up primarily for looks. The discussion in this forum should be centered around how much more tread width can clear the bodywork, not how much wider of a wheel you can stretch a 225 onto.

Your car looks very nice, but would be completely impractical for an autocross or road course.
