Okay, so basically ALL routine maintenance has just been recently taken care of besides transmission fluid/filter.

I have added a ChromeIntakes hard pipe + K&N air filter, Afterglow digital boost/oil pressure gauges, 1G BOV, NXS manual boost controller, emissions delete, and Evo 8 ECU swap.

I am picking up an Innovate MTX-L wideband, but don't know what else to pick up.

According to the Upgrade Path, I'd take care of my exhaust next, but i'd rather wait until this winter passes, and is over.

I have a MHI TD05 B16g sitting as well.

I was thinking about picking up the VRSF FMIC on sale, installing my b16g, and just running low boost until I pick up the supporting my mods, but I am still unsure.

Goals: 300-350 awhp daily driver. Also, would like to run e85 as well.

Any advice?

-Mike

Grab a 3" exhaust - ignore. I read too fast
Grab that FMIC before it snows, so when it does, you can pack it with snow and have tons of fun.
I'll wait for the 2g guys to show up. Not sure what size injectors you guys have.

I'd do: blue wire mod for the trans, exhaust, injectors and fuel pump after the wideband, then 16G and FMIC. Then more boost and a tune with the evo8 ecu.

I really gotta read slower LOL, but yeah.

I've seen a few people make their blue-wire mod switched, I think that works better so you can enter racecar mode when you want.

When you get the fuel pump, grab a re-wire kit too.

undefined0000- I was also thinking about the whole snow, and FMIC thing. I mean it shouldn't be a problem considering we are harnessing the sun under the hood with the amount of heat the engine throws off. I am pretty confident I'll just melt the snow LOL.

RadDsm- I'll have to read up on the blue wire mod. I briefly came across it, and don't remember exactly what it does. Extreme PSI is set to have the wideband, fuel pump, and injectors on sale, so I might just go that route.

Lol, the power increase will be fun while it lasts. I LOVE that metaphor, it gets worse when you have a tubular manifold apparently.

The blue-wire mod makes the tranny shift at full line pressure all the time. So it "shifts as hard as a manual" from what I've read.

Another guy tackling an auto, good luck. I couldn't stand an auto in something like this :sneaky: basically just do everything they say on that guide... it's pretty basic but it gets to the point. Hard pipes at the least though ;)

You wouldnt say that if you start making serious power and suddenly have to start putting serious $$ into a 5speed setup LOL

I don't mind the auto so much, specially since I'm always in boost :). The worst part is just 1st gear.

I always say add fuel before air, most times you'll fun out of fuel before you run out of boost. Everyone likes the bigger turbo but it does no good if you can support it. Maybe a short shifter with some stiff bushings.

Skip the 190. Get a 255hp and fuel pressure regulator. Then you won't have to worry about upgrading at all, since you'll be maxed on that 190 before you max those injectors.

Put your 16g turbo on , 1,255cc injectors an 255fuel pump. An get a apexi neo for tuning . Then tune it you should be good! But if you do tune get 3' exhaust from greddy ti-c an tune with e85 you'll be fast possibly to your 300-350 hp goal. Tuning is everything!
