Anyone know of anywhere to buy a set of NPR 1g 6 bolt pistons with .030 bore at a reasonable price? I've checked multiple venders everyone has .20 or .40 but no .30

The oversize pistons for 4g63 typically run .020 or .040.
If your cylinder walls need more than .020 removed, than you'll most likely need to go with the .040

Yeaaaa, I found those was hoping for something cheaper . Being that I can get NPRs on ebay for less then 90 shipped. I might have to bite the bullet tho. the block I have was bored to .030 over for some reason. And it has oem 85.75mm 1g pistons in it, which is non existent when I'm looking to purchase them One piston is heavily damaged from a bent valve, a valve spring broke.

ebay NPR are cheap china made , they have nothing to do with NPR that are made in japan ! But its up to you, its your engine.

You have no idea what you are talking about. The ones on ebay are the same ones that everyone else sells. There are many many users including myself that use the npr pistons from ebay. Just because something is sold on ebay doesn't mean that it is made in china.

go to chinabay. The pistons and rings are great. I got King main and rod bearings,evergreen pistons, npr rings, wrist pins for 125 shipped. They are from china for sure. Even the wrapping smell kinda like chinese moth ball. I made 365hp and 370tq with a 16g and 55 shots with these pistons. Sold the car to my friend and it is still kicking ass after 1 year of abuse.

I think what you're getting confused with is Nippon Racing and NPR, Nippon racing is the replica junk ebay pistons, meant to copy NPR. NPR's on ebay (yellow NPR box) are the legit pistons that came from the factory. Bryan's right, and I'm currently using a set of NPR .020" pistons in my talon.

I have installed probably 20-30 of these sets over the years, they clearly say made in japan on the box just like the npr rings. I assume that you think that the king and acl bearings in these kits are knock off's also?

Again you have no idea what you're talking about. NPR (IE YELLOW NPR BOX) are FACTORY pistons. Ever bought FACTORY pistons from the dealership? Well the last set I bought came from, you guessed it! NPR, in a you guess it! Yellow NPR box. The set I bought from ebay, came in a, you guessed it! NPR (yellow box) they are direct OEM pistons from NPR. Nippon Racing (again) is the company that sells replica pistons, that are garbage. If I hadn't just moved I'd dig out my 100% straight from the factory pistons, and my other set of NPR's. Hell, if I get time to get my motor out of my other 1g tomorrow I will gladly pull the pistons out of it, considering it's a bone stock engine, and compare them just for you. You need to do some more research.

Perhaps , i should next time , but for 90$ you aint gonna get anything good. That's my point . btw i the fake ones came from domesticgaskets ebay user. and i got them for 89$ shipped.

Well your point is WRONG. Every REAL set that i have bought has cost me less than 100 bucks with rings. You can get real npr pistons, rings, and acl or king bearings for around 120 bucks shipped.

Interesting you say that, considering I bought mine for $89 shipped from domestic gaskets, and they look identical to the ones in your second picture, and also look identical to the ebay link posted above. If they say NIPPON RACING, they are NOT authentic. If they say NPR, they ARE authentic.

i try buying the cheap stuff and they came fake . so i rather pay little more and do't deal with returns and waste of time.

There problem dude case your not smart enough to figure it. You always buy fake just like you said. NPR.....not....NRP. Sharpen your eyes or buy glasses. NRPs are fake. NPR are real. You clearly don't know what your talking about.

So what's the difference btwn you and lets say bryan. He's done around thirty installs with NPRs successfully and you can't get past the first one. You said yourself you always buy "NRP" not "NPR" there is your detail. Get tour letters right.

If i were you i think i wouldn't just keep buying the same stuff hoping magically it'll become what I want.

Check the pictures i posted early . there you can see difference between real and fake . No need to talk about this naymore. If someone need more details, i will end up buying both and do review with pictures. Like i said i wont open my mouth ! ff they are all the same . End of story.

Soo well to get back on the subject, does anyone know where to get .030 npr for a $100? after shipping from dsm graveyard its over $180. I don't mind payin that but the price difference is just a little ridiculous.
