Mine is 94 as well only thing special is its a eprom ecu with vented rear brakes.

What you discovered is build date, not model year. haven't you ever wonder how the next model year cars are available in late summer early fall?

Im pretty sure that means it was manufactured in late 94. So it was one of the first batches of 2g's.

Your car is a 95, the car's built in 94.5 to 95.5 are 95's, 95.5-96.5 are 96's and so on.

My old GST was a late 94 to came with an eprom but not vented rear rotors that I know of cause it had slotted rotors when I got it

I knew that was the build date. But I thought I read some where there was something different about the early 95s built in 95. And I think the vented brakes was it but I'm not sure. All I can say is I love my car its big old smile makes me smile

I had a guy come into Autozone where I work looking for a radiator fan, and said it was a 94. I looked out the window and said, "no it's not."

He swore up and down that it was cause of that 94' build date.

Well I know its a 95 . I'm not that ignorant to call it by the build date. Just my car is an early 95 and I thought something was different about them.

Just what was already mentioned. I'd have to look it up but early GSX had vented rear rotors and many had eproms. I don't think it's a guarantee.

I as well have an early '95 gsx (June '94). Most if not all early 95's came with an eprom ecu and vented rear rotors. Now as far as I know the vented rears only came on awd models. My dad's early 95 talon tsi didn't have vented rotors it was fwd. It did however have an eprom. So I think vented rear rotors only came on awd models. Wonder if vented rears was make specific?

I think it is because my Tai awe doesn't have vented rears

Some early ones came with the perferated (sp?) real leather seats.
