To any person who is going to buy a wideband, please do stay away from glowshift products.

I have a glowshift wideband, least accurate sh!t on sale today. i always calibrate it (outside exhaust) every few weeks.
and it always says i am 10.0 AFR at WOT .. pretty conservative, and safe i thought at 18 psi ...

but evoscan disagrees.... well my with my setup SAFC - 30 on HI across ...
3rd gear pull from 3,000 rpm... and around 4.8K rpm to 6.6K , i get 9 counts of knock (with 71*F intake temps) while the wideband says im at 10.0 AFR.... :hmm:

well, ill be throwing away this junk .. and getting a innovate WB ... so heads just a heads up ... glowshift products :notgood:
at least evoscan is doings its job ... stupid glowshift WB ..

I never used these types of gauges. But as gauges go I can tell you not all are made well and every company has defective merchandise. I have used gauges in HVAC that were several hundred dollars in cost as a group buy and some were junk. Not due to me or the company. Drop it in shipping hard enough or contamination of materials could be the issue. But as the saying goes sh!t happens. Many top dollar gauges are recalibrated every day just to make sure readings are correct. But in hvac a mess up could cost tens of thousands of dollars so perfection is important.

All in all this thread seems more like a place to vent.

Hate to bring this back from the dead,

but this seems to be the most informative.

Some people confirmed to have no problem with the Glowshift Wideband? Anybody have success logging properly/acurately with dsmlink/ecmlink?

Black 7 Series Digital Wideband Air Fuel Gauge

I was able to get a hold of teh above free, but dont want to install if its not going to low properly with link. It does indicate Linear Wideband Output: 0 to 5 Volts, which Link supports, but various searches never has anyone completely vouching for it to work well together.

I will weigh in: I have glowshit boost and oil pressure(elec) gauges. The boost gauge has read on the hash mark below zero since day one, but i trust its pretty accurate. The oil pressure gauge on the other hand, LOL, says im getting 0-2psi oil pressure when the cars warmed up. Has read the same since it came back from the machinist. Obviously its way the #### off or my engine would have burned bearings all over the bottom end by now(over 2500miles since rebuild roughly).

overall, i am slightly displeased with the boost gauge, and thoroughly unhappy with the oil gauge. The dummy light never comes on too btw, so i know its running good oil pressure. Im switching to a different brand when i get around to it... someday

I have used glowshift gauges and hated them. The boost gauge was off by 3psi and the oil temp and pressure gauge never worked right either. I now have autometer and its off by 2 psi. All were measured through an aem ems.
