10.3:
Finally got a pass with the boost turned up a little.

Byron Dragway - YouTube

1.49 60'
6.62 1/8 @ 104.78
[email protected] 1/4

about 32-33 psi and 16* peak timing.

The next pass I broke the front yoke into 3 pieces :p The only changes were lower tire pressure and about 35 psi. Felt great for the first 30' :)

May get back to the track before the season is over but there are still many things I want to do first; the car was literally just thrown back together for the event. Changes from the last 10.5 run were 2g head, evo3 intake, Mitsu MLS, and inline 255. There is still a good bit left on the table and 9's are the goal on the HX35. It won't be easy but I think it's possible.

Still a full interior daily driver.

:thumb:Looks like a good pass I'm just about done yet another Dsm build with hx35 for the wife only thing left is tune good luck with the 9 sec goal won't be easy

Wow! Your car is my inspiration! I can't wait until you hit 9's!!! I have faith!!!

I was watching that video....then I replayed it and said out loud "Is that auto?". Clicked on your profile and sure enough! Outstanding accomplishment! I'm shooting for any 10 second pass and I'll be happy with my HX35, this is just inspiration.

Very nice man!!

Very nice man! Love seeing you go faster and faster with the HX-35. Tells me I still have so much more to get out of mine. Car looks and sounds awesome going down the track.

Congrats man.. That is one nasty ride.

Thanks :)

I will probably be going back this Sunday to try for a full pass with a better 60' and 35psi. It went the same mph(129) at 30 psi and 1ghead/intake so I'm really hoping for 132-133 mph since that should be enough power to get that magic number. I'm sure there is more in the 60' too since it hit a 1.45 earlier in the year and think a low 1.4 is possible with some work, even on the stock suspension.

We will see...

Wow! Impressive. What size exhaust housing? You have a two-step with the auto?

I love seeing the hx35 being pushed closer and closer to 9's. I truely believe the hx35 may well be the greatest turbo ever made. Amazing spool and great power usually don't mix but holset really nailed it with this turbo. Makes me want to skip the last week of my driving season and start my hx35 install now! Keep up the good work.

Exhaust housing is the factory 12cm^2. I have a 16cm housing but I'm not sure how it will work with the stock convertor. It probably would, but take a looong time. That and the intercooler are probably my two bottlenecks now.

I'm using the "NLTS" two step so it immediately turns off once the brake is released and also retarding timing to bring the boost up at the line without creating too much torque. Also tied into the brake switch(and an override). Set at 3250 rpm for the track and leaves at about 20psi.

I haven't had enough driving time since the 2g head and evo3 intake. I literally got it done, did a couple pulls, then drove to the track. I would have to compare logs and It's tricky with the auto to get accurate spool rpm, especially with a stock TCU. It feels a little more responsive but I switched back from pump gas to e85 at the same time as well *shrug* Too many variables.

WTF Please tell me English isn't your first language.

Type "holset oiling" into the search bar and you will find all the info you need.

:hellyeah:Haha I'm using my phone its super hard to text and drive but thanks much appreciated man

Is there any way to edit the title?

The first pass of the day I broke the tcase output shaft. Slapped the spare tcase on then made another pass, the [email protected] 1.42 60' only going part throttle off the line cause I was scurred. AFR was really rich when I glanced at the gauge, low 11.1AFR. Took out some fuel and made another pass, 10.2@132 with a low 1.5 60', again part throttle launch. This time it was too lean on the top end since I forgot to turn the 2nd pump on... 4th pass I broke the u joint off the rear diff when I left at WOT. Dropped the driveshaft and drove home.

Overall I'm extremely happy but need to figure out why I'm having so many issues with the drivetrain now. I think the stock suspension may be allowing too much weigh to transfer to the rear tires or the springs need to be stiffer so the suspension can settle before it hits full boost. Track was hooking extremely well and Kenny cut a 1.33 60' with his car :) And I'm still within a second of his best time so goal complete :p

I know it has a 9 in it for next year :rocks:

That is badass, so you are able to get on the stock converter with this setup not using any nitrous?

Seems almost too simple. Are you using a custom manifold?
