I have the innovate motorsports MTX-L Wideband and I could not be happier. When i first installed the gauge and hooked it up to my DSMlink I noticed It was off by about .1-.3 AFR. Very minimal so i looked past it. A few months later i am now having to retune since I completely redesigned my intake, increasing airflow.

I am now reading up to 1 whole point off under WOT or more. If i am reading a solid 11.2 AFR on my gauge I am dataloging upwards of a 12.7 or so.

Is this a calibration issue? Will removing it and calibrating the sensor again in clean air fix this issue or am I having another problem? i am not familiar with the calibration as to if it is for the gauge itself and has no effect on the dsmlink.

Should I trust what is logging in Link or the gauge?

I would pull the sensor out and recalibrate it. It actually says in the directions to recalibrate after about two months.

Kind of a pain in the ass the way I set mine up. I guess that will have to be my first step. I wonder if the reading in Link is the true reading though and the the calibration is just for their gauge.

The one that i got it to work with was LC-1 so that is what I have it running on right now. Should i change it to linwideband? what is that one?

Not sure if it matter but I have V2 Link

Another question, My stock o2 sensor is in and out so i think it is having issues. can i simply run my Low volt wire for narrowband simulation from my MTX-L right to the input on my ecu in place of the stock o2. Or do i need to get a new stock o2?

Not certain what LM programmer is, Is that part of the innovate software?

Is there anything wrong with the simulator? No settings to change or anything, just a plug and play? yes i am cheap haha.

Mind explaining what the LM programmer is?

Some people will say you can recalibrate the sensor without removing it. Just make sure to do it after the car has sat for a day. Although it would be best just to remove it.
To set up linear wideband do the same as this Calibrating AEM UEGO Wideband with DSMLink/ECMLink - YouTube

But instead like snowborder714 said open up LM Programmer and see the set values in there and copy them. If they are not exact then you can mess with the voltages a little to fix it.

Nothing wrong with the simulator, but it's just not as nice as an actual sensor. It switches between two voltages and not cycle/sweep.

LM Programmer is a piece of software from Innovate that is used to reprogram the analog outputs of the wideband. This is how you can set both yellow and brown wires to output a wideband signal or you can change the AFR range that the output shows. For example, I think from the factory they read 7:1 to 23:1 (or some large range like that). I've reprogrammed mine to show 9:1 to 19:1(.61 lambda at 0v to 1.29 lambda at 5v) as I don't need the very large range that it comes programmed for.

Also a possibility. Let it sit at least 24 hours, but the longer the better. All the exhaust gases need to be replaced with fresh air.

Thank you for the information, is that innovate software part of the cd that came with my MTX-L? I will have to check it all out when I get home and recalibrate it at the same time.

Kind of scary running around thinking you are in the 11's and Link is saying I am in the 13's OMG
