i have searched but no luck. im trying to do the cobra calipers conversion on my GSX. i want to do the conversion on all 4 wheels. has anyone here done it and if so can you guys provide a link or any info on how to do this. also would i have to order cobra rotors or can i still use gsx rotors. since i found a great deal on the gsx baer drilled and slotted. im working on a budget otherwise i would just go with a big break kit. Any suggestions or tips on how to make this happen would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I guess you really don't have any luck at all :)

Let me google that for you

there is already a lot of information on this subject

I would start with the basic, read up on what is needed for this kit. What size rotors, calipers, brackets, hardware, brakelines, centering rings, wheel hub thread adapters, etc etc. It is considered a budget upgrade, but DSM two piston calipers are really good with the support pads and uprgraded rotors.

1. You can only do the front Cobra conversion.
2. You need Cobra 13" rotors.
3. You need Ford Cobra/Mach 1 2-piston PBR calipers with brackets.
4. You need custom caliper bracket adapters to use those calipers on your DSM sold by RTMracing.com and hardware.
5. You need a different thread banjo fitting. Don't remember the exact size.
6. You need hub centric rings to install the rotors.

and...

7. Your welcome.

I have the Cobra calipers in the front. The rears I have 96 Corvette calipers and rotors. Both calipers are made by PBR. The rear were much more work, but worth it. I have photos in my gallery.
