I am new here but i can def. appreciate any help i can get . I have been working for over a year on this project , i am on my last 100 m and i got stock in vacuums and electric under hood .
I own a 99 GSX with a 6 bolt swap , 2g head , 1g intake mani ...motor completly rebuilt ,,,
i cant find the proper vacuum configuration , engine idles for a wile before it dies , and that is if i diconnect the BOV from the intake mani niple and keep my finger on the nipple alowing the right amount of air to go thru .....i dont know what i am doing at this point and need help ....
thank you

thanks for reply ,,,,it wasnt the vacuums ...i get a P0100 cell ....did the research on it , and checked most of the things i found here listed as potential problems . cant seems to find out why is runing rich and sputters ...there is a SAFC connected ...i got the diagram and checked all wires and conection to ECU , all checks out ...when i disconnect the MAF there is no difference in the ruff idling , as MAF was never there in first place . ...i bought the car with a EVO MAF that piggy backs into the 2G MAF connector , i check the wires there make sure none loose !!! all looks good ...i dont know if they are connected to proper wire as i never found a diagram showing how to piggy back EVO MAF to a 2G MAF ..car was running before rebuild however .
the turbo timmer is still connected , not sure if intervines , as it is not operational .
check for vacuum leaks ....none found
I am running out of ideas ...i was going to check continuity on the wires from MAF to ECU , but that would be to easy

If anyone has this set up- Evo Maf piggy backed into 2g Maf plaes advice the proper wire diagram , and if the 2G connector suppose to remain empty or plug something into it ( translator maybe ) ...i found some kind of chip that fits into the 2g maf connector , when i insert it the rpm rises slightly .
car sputters and runs extremly rich still ...i try reving to 3000+ , when turbo is about to kick in ,engine stalls ( leak? )
thanks for help
