[imghow do i post a pic from my cell

when u do get the horn fixed relocate it. any water gets in the horn its done. to save u any future problems.

The horn its self works, I hooked it straight to the battery

Which horn are you trying to get to work. I have a 96 gst, when I got it my horn didn't work either. I was trying to get the one on the firewall working. The one under the bumper cover in front of the driver side wheel is the one you need to play with.

Have you checked to make sure the wires to the horn switch are getting power?

This is where the problem has to be, if he was able to connect it to the battery and it work.
Get a voltoneter and check to make sure the wires are receiving power, it may just be a ground.

I believe there is a dedicated horn fuse under the hood. Go ahead ans check all the fuses under there just to be sure.
When you have ruled out the fuse and the ground the problem will be with the power wire.

They make some meters that anytime you get close to something with power it goes pick one up at Lowes

i have this problem on omy gst as well, has not worked since i bought the car last year. I'm pretty sure previous owner tampered with it because other electrical stuff was not working right either. I did check the fuses and relays though and they are good, how do i go about checking the horn itself? where is it and how does it look like, sorry new to this. also how do i check the contacts on the buttons? do i have to remove the air bag cover on the steering wheel? sorry for my newbie questions in advanced

Ok i will do that Tks, i figured id ask here since the thread was done already and its related.
