typical apple product, overpriced and overhyped
This is a solid competitor...to the Galaxy S I got in 2010.
Not to drag out the umpteenth iOS v Android thread, but Google does this. All my photos are set to "instant upload" on my phone, then manageable centrally.I love the fact that I can take the pictures with my iPhone, walk into the house and instantly browse them on my iPad, then walk back to the desktop and run my photo editing without ever having to mess with uploaded and moving files.
If you are looking just for a phone then the iPhones are slightly less robust than the droids out there. However if you are looking for an overall tech package such as the iPad, MacBooks, and iPhone so everything is synced all the time then the iOS platform is ten times better. as Lando commented, I actually do this on my EVO V 3D via google.
Prior to my evo I had a Samsung intercept for 3 years, awesome phone I'd take over an Iphone any day, but eventually it got tiresome this summer considering it had less ram than the required amount to even run the android OS after being updated throughout the years, finally pulled the trigger on my EVO V 3D after much comparison with the Iphone - I just couldn't justify it as it just seemed inferior to the Android OS.
Just a reminder to those who already have an iPhone and looking to upgrade go check out your local Cingular/ radio shack because they have a special. When I went they said trade in your old iPhone and get the new iPhone for only $50. Not a bad deal to me . On another note aren't they suppose to stop making the galaxy's in the us since they lost the lawsuit to apple....
Android for life. Currently rocking a unlocked gsm galaxy nexus on t mobile monthly 4g only 30 bucks a month. More powerful then the iPhone and way cheaper. I'm also prlly one of the most anti apple people I know. Apple is like Nazi Germany. U can only do things third way no choice or customization at all. You can keep your over priced fruit phones I'll stick with android. And in 10 years when android wins the war I'll say I told ya so.
