Yea the NHRA rules around here are real tight. Its a shame that we just cant sign a waiver or release. To see the Hayabusa click off mid nines off the street and all the dude needs is leathers, gloves, helmet makes no sense to me. You think that sh!t is gonna protect him if he crashes? He'll be a parachute then a pizza at the top end.
As far as a comparison I dont think my 2.3 will give you solid reference. Its that 20g thats holding you down Nate. I would love to see you try the 3052 out however. I think you should be able to get on the convertor better than your current turbo. When I shut my car off the 3052 continues to spin for way over a min. I should time it! BB turbos are what every auto needs unless your at an hta68 or under. Just my .02c
Yeah, Im kinda tempted to just try and 3052 out just to see if it will whip at all, but Im in the same situation a you with the roll bar. It's kinda pointless to keep modifying the car to run quicker and make more power when you know the track won't let you run more than once. Up until seeing this thread, I was mentally set to put a cheap air/air fmic on and go back to an Evo3 16g figuring that would be simple/cheap and still be able to knock off legal 11.7-11.5's. But damnnit, seeing that 10 and 120+ got me re-thinking the FP3052 that my buddy has laying in his garage collecting dust. Thinking that it would likely be able to push 120+mph even on everyday tune and pump gas, just the question of will it launch on a 7.8CR 2.0 with the stock converter. Suppose I could always "sneaky pete" it.
