Is there anyone around des moines that knows alot about 4g63s? I have tried talking to matt with tmf but i cant ever get ahold of him and when i do he says yeah he can hook me up and then never does.... i dont like waiting 3 months to hear back from someone.. any help?
 
I can have you covered for most things. You can pm me here, im on alot. I wouldn't recommend Matt either. I had the exact same problem. If its parts you need, go to JB autosports.
 
Im getting a dsm link v3 and i just wanted someone to show me around it and show me how it works so i dont screw stuff up LOL
 
I've used dsmlink for like 4 years and can get you a good base and with time get it darn near perfect. I'm up in Ames so if you want to come up I'll be more than willing to help. Once I get into a house with a garage I'll be having Dsm handouts if anyone wants to come up
 
Ruie or 19awd93, I currently live here in Ames and go to ISU for software engineering. I just recently got a 91 Laser RS Turbo. The person that had it before me screwed up the intake and bov setup it seems. They put on a APEXI twin chamber bov that vents to the atmosphere, and got a new tube for the filter hose that doesn't have an inlet for a recirculated bov if I were to get one. I also do not see any MAF sensor on the intake at all. It stalls between shifts quite frequently. I am wondering if either of you know a place near that I can get the stock 1g bov, intake piping, intercooler piping, and MAF? if not do you know any work around or could either of you check this car out with me?

Buy a MAF translator and a GM 3" MAF. I had the same problem when I took off my stock MAF to fit my I take pipe. The idle sucked and didn't run very well.
