We've been hard at work squeezing more performance out of our dragster and we just became the quickest 4G63 in the world! This past weekend I made 3 full passes in the car (on a 4th pass I let off at the 60' because the other guy red lit). I went 6.80 at 196, 6.87 at 195 and then 6.77 at 198.9 MPH!

With any post like this, there are a lot of people that I need to thank. I have to thank my Dad, Bob Niemczyk. This is his car, and the two of us put a ton of hours and dollars into it. Our two primary crew guys, Roger Niemczyk and Chris Regan, these guys work hard to keep this car going, we couldn't do it without you. I also have to thank the incredible companies that I've had the pleasure of working with. Extreme PSI has been incredible to us, I can't thank them enough. AEM Electronics, Fuel Injector Clinic, Manley Performance Pistons and Valves, BorgWarner Turbos, Kiggly Racing, Erbified Motorsports, SparkTech Ignitions, DV/DT Fabrications and turbo4.com Race Engines. Without these companies, we wouldn't be able to run these times.

I showed this to an older guy that used to drag race in a tube chassis nova that ran in the 8's and he said "DAMN! A 4 CYLINDER? You have got to be SHITTIN me!" Your shakin heads and scramblin brains everywhere. This was his expression... OMG then after seeing it again. :D
 
Great work fellas, wish you would've made the shootout though!

We would love to make it to the Shootout but I promise that we would not be able to make passes like this if we ever went there. We run at NHRA events where NHRA preps the track extremely well. The event we ran at this past weekend is scheduled this weekend every year and is a points event for us as well. We're going to be hard pressed to make a shootout.

You are confused on which class you are talking about.

I am? Maybe you're confused because I didn't specify that I was talking about 60' time, sorry. I meant that a top fuel car goes 60' in 0.855 seconds and this 4G63 dragster does it in 0.989 seconds. That's just a little over a tenth of a second slower 60' time than a top fueler.;)

That would be a pretty large distinction. ;)

I was confused by the 10th of a second comment at first too. :)

Btw, I by no means meant to gloss over your accomplishment in this thread. That is one insanely impressive machine.
