Well I have been slacking....I still need to make a driving video... I still need to install the new Calan catch can...

But last night I DID install the new driver side front axle. I only took me a couple hours to do and that included looking up the torque values for each bolt and what not... I remember the days when changing out an axle was a weekend project for me. Crazy how far I have come and how much I have learned about working on cars in general.

On a side note: I have a set of Enkie 18"rims that I got on trade... they will be getting some new rubber soon. Then I will plasti-dip them black, install them, then get an alignment.

Nice score w/the rims.

I got some new Toyo Proxies tires put onto the extra set of rims yesterday. Then today I painted them flat black with plasti-dip. Onto the pics. I will install these onto the car next week when I go in for the alignment.

I've read this build in its entirety twice now, I love the attention to detail. That engine bay will make a lot of people jealous! Car has turned out awesome so far, can't wait for the cams to be installed an you post up new dyno sheets! :hellyeah:

Yea the GSC2 cams should be a nice upgrade someday. Thanks for checking out my build.

I have an apointment on monday to get an alignment, so I will put those new rims onto the car this weekend. I will post up some pics after the alignment.

i think the whole project is amazing, i cant wait into i finish mines!!!

I got the new rims on the car! Got an alignment! What was cool about the alignment was that all the parts on my car are new and so I guessed on the alignment when I was installing the parts, well all of the specs were within tolerance except the camber on the front passenger side wheel. I was surprized at how close I got all the tie rod ends on the new steering rack compared to the old steering rack ect..

Got a speeding ticket last night :coy::toobad::banghead:

As promised, pictures of the new rims on the car.

Glad to hear it's running strong. Beautiful car man, congrats!

It's been a while since I have updated this, new updates are the brakes they started squealing big time, fine one day the next day it was loud loud LOL...Took he brakes apart found that the rotors are toast, way past the 0.880" service limit to be resurfaced. So rotors were on the list. Did a small amount of research and decided to do the Outland brake upgrade. Bought the Rotors today from a local place for $35 a piece, centric brand. On order are the brackets to make use of the new bigger rotors, should be here next week. 13K miles on the motor/transmission/turbo and all is great.
