Today I saved a 91 galant vr4 it's #1633, needs paint but all in all it's in great shape. Runs but horribly due to a almost cracked in half exaust mani somehow the 14b has no shaft play. But the 02 housing has a stripped bung for the sensor and turbine housing is junk. So I'll swap in a few parts I have here and might be able to run this thing at the next races see how it does. More updates soon wanna keep wrenchin on it.

Ya that's what I said when I first saw it . I'm wondering if there are any more hiding around. It's funny I've seen a few newer galants around but never expected to see this thing. The second I saw it I was like I'll take it . I found some paper work in the car and looks like the guy bought the car in 95 for $10k from big island toyota with 35k miles and it now has 120k. Looks like this thing was sitting for a long time. From what my friend said the guy could never get it running. Good thing for me I know how to diagnos, I found the negative battery cable from battery to starter bolt to be bad. Swapped it out, added some fresh gas and battery and the thing fired right up . So far looks like this thing will be well worth the time and effort to fully restore and build the ultimate sleeper . And will be a nice complement to my other dsm's now all I need is a 1g eclipse or talon and a Evo to have a little bit of all the Mitsu flavas .
