Is it possible my wideband isn't working correctly?

I just hooked up my wideband on thursay and I had my evo 16g on 15-16 psi and I swear i felt it begin to detonate on a pull but the entire time the wideband was saying that it was around 10.8 to 11 which is each and I really don't see how it could be running rich it has stock injectors and I figured it would be pretty much maxed out... I do have a Wally 255 if that would make a difference? Now I got a new boost controller and set it at 13 psi ad it's running at 10.4 which is a little more rich I'm just curious if something could be wrong with the wideband? I have it right after the bend on the downpipe at a 10* angle just like it said to be installed

It could be possible if there is a leak anywhere in between the turbo outlet and the wideband. Check to make sure all your bolts are tight and give it a once over. Also from what your describing, maybe check out the spark plugs and see what they look like.

Which wideband?

You could have been getting knock on the 15-16 psi pull because of how small your injectors are. Stock injectors at that boost on a 16g is not a good idea. Please turn the boost down and leave it there until you get larger injectors. The next thing you should invest in is a tuning device so you can actually see what's going on. It would really help in situations like these to properly diagnose what happened.

It's an aem ugo I have it placed right after the bend in the down pipe and before the flex pipe because I read on here some people were getting lazy reading if it was after the flex section

some o2 sensors need to be calibrated prior to use. Also if our burning oil it may have coated the sensor and it cannot read properly.

As stated though i wouldn't run more than 8-10 pounds of boost until injectors capable of handling the boost/airflow of the 16g are installed.

If the flex pipe has a leak then you will be getting a bad reading if it's close enough.

Best thing to do is use seafoam and look for plumes of smoke from your exhaust parts which would indicate a leak.
