My goal is to trap 115. My car has a little bit of weight reduction. Removed a/c, power stearing, abs, everythinh under the dash and everything behind the front seats. I want to know if my goal is acheivable with the things I have done so far? And how much boost would it most likely take to get to my goal.

Got it used on here from a guy nAmed spam. Not sure. I plan on boosting around 25 psi. I hope that is enough for my goals. I'm not shooting for et or power just trap speed. I want a 115+ car

Power translates too trap speed. ET depends on power and driving skill. IMO I would try around 28psi. The 18g you have is like my 16g and it really opened up above 25psi. Just the few psi and it was night and day. You will see what I'm saying when you start to boost hard and you will find the turbos sweet spot.

Its almost like 22-25psi would feel like stock, but 28-30psi was a big difference. At least in my car.

Yea hopefully ill have enough injector for 28 psi on e85. I'm sure cams and new intake and exhaust manifolds would help gain a good amount of power but that kind of stuff will be a while. We'll see how much boost 1000cc injectors and e85 is good for with the fp18g. I haven't really found too much on my turbo. And anything I do find has cams so their power levels are irrelivant to mine.

You will be fine with those injectors. You may get them up to max but you should be fine. Just watch them logs. And yea next time get bigger injectors so you dont have to ever upgrade again.

At&t is messed up right now. Its either trade for 1000cc ones now or wait till the midle of next week to get them.

Well a couple of deals on injectors fell through and are holding me back. I decided against going e85 on my 850 cc injectors in the meantime . Instead the car is still on the 550cc ones that were in the car already and the car is on 12 lbs on 93 for now. I need to install my wideband and find some big injectors soon cause I'm itching to turn up the boost and see if my goal is achievable. The car runs good now but I'm scared to drive it before I get tuned. The car was tuned before to run a bit rich on a small 16g before on around 18 lbs.

Get some 1200cc injectors or bigger and run that 18g past 25 psi and you will see the big difference. When i had mine on maf-t and afc combo on e85 it was a little beast!

So to update, I got an aem wideband and 1000cc rc injectors and will be installing them today. then its off for a tune. In the end I trust my tuner 100% and know that he knows my car better than I ever will and I am going to take the car to as much boost as it will allow. I hope I can make some decent numbers. I just saw a dyno of a gst on a small 16g make 32x whp on 20psi on e85 locally so that gives me a bit of encouragement for my 18g with some more psi on top.

update car went 12.4 @ 114mph in the 1/4 its first and only pass. now i am upgrading to hks 272 cams, dual valve springs and retainers, 5 angle valve job, mild porting.

On e85 you can push that 18g as hard as it will go. You will have very good dyno numbers with the new cams for sure.

no dyno numbers yet. the car was on about 28lbs that night, i usually will pin my 30lb boost guage

a little update. built and ported head with hks 272 and supertech dual valvespirng and retainers, is now on and running. i let the car idle for 15 mins. im gonna let it cool down check coolant and oil then drive it around the block a couple times and re tq my head studs. then it should be time to start making power.
