Hello

I'm currently looking in to one of these staging brakes
I looked at a few forums about the install and am a bit confused.

Can anyone clear it as far as they can it's the part whe you cut the line on the car

Or just bypass thru the prop Valve

I actually kind of forgot how I did it in my car, but I'll take the best pics I can and post them up in a few days. Once you see how I did it, you'll realize how easy it is.

Oh. Ok thanks man.

No worry, I got you covered ;)

I will be installing mine this weekend hopefully using this method.

Yup, thats pretty much it. You will need to buy some adapters to run the -3an SS lines. I forget what the thread pitch of the master cylinder and prop valve is. The CNC brake is 1/8" NPT. I used one straight and one swivel'd 90* 1/8" NPT to -3AN adaptor.

This list was for a 2g, make sure the 1g has the same size fittings, if not adjust accordingly with size. This is/was using a CNC 412 brake.

Again, check your ports to see if you need convex or concave fittings to match the brake booster and brake line fittings to confirm

*2x -3AN straight adaptor fittings on the staging brake (check to see if you have 1/8"NPT or M10x1.0 threads on the staging brake; I thought that they were 1/8"NPT but I cannot remember). If it is 1/8"NPT, the part is P/N: 3250-02-03S - $1.99 each.

*1x M10x1.0 male concave to -3AN straight fitting (install into brake master cylinder and attach to 90-degree end of hose that runs to the end fitting on CNC brake and attach straight end of hose to brake end fitting). P/N: 3265-51 - $16.49 each.

*1x M10x1.0 female convex to -3AN straight fitting (install onto the brake line you removed from the brake master cylinder, and attach to a straight end of the second hose that runs to the side fitting on the CNC brake and attach 90-degree end of hose to the brake side fitting). P/N: 3265-30 - $5.49 each.

*2x 48" long (you may be able to use a 44" line as well; P/N: 3-44-S-90 - $29.99 each) -3AN pre-assembled braided stainless steel teflon lined hoses. The end fittings are a crimped 90-degree on one side, and a crimped straight fitting on the other side. P/N: 3-48-S-90
- $31.99 each.

My material total required for install:
4x 1/4" x 1.5" Grade 8 SAE hex-head fasteners
18x 1/4" Grade 8 hardened flat washers
4x 1/4" ID fender washers
4x 1/4" Grade 8 hardened lock washers
4x 1/4" Grade 8 nuts

Borrowed from DSMLink forums.
