I drop a qtip on one of the small holes on the block when i was preping my deck for new gasket. Its one of the smallest hole that i think is the ones for tha water not oil what can i do. I tried vacum it out and flip the block put dont come out:cry:

Maybe blocking some of the other coolant holes if that is what passage its down. Then shooting air in anther passage way hope it pushes it out. Maybe putting tape on thin screwdriver or other small diameter shaft and put it down hole it fell in, maybe it will grab it. Good luck hope get it out.

+1 on the above, compressed air. block all other passages as the air will escape the route with the least resistance -only one hole for IN and the Qtip hole OUT.

When I work on tight spots on a helicopter I wire the wrench or screw driver and secure it to my wrist so it doesn't fall inside the flight controls or inside any inaccessible hole. But for you, consider safety wiring your Q-tip so it doesnt fall in again LOL. that would be your corrective training if you worked for me.

If you put the compressed air the way it came in wouldn't it push it in there more. Or get a shop.vac and see if that can pull it out.
