Are there any auto salvage yards around anchorage other than northwest and hilltop. Somebody stole my door cap, the part above the side skirt at the muffler shop. ####ing pissed and they played stupid and said it was missing when I came in.
So looking for a parts car, preferably a 95-96 5 speed so I can swap out the auto at the same time.

Those two are it for Anchorage area anymore, rest closed up. The only other choice Knik out of KGB on Hollywood. They aren't the cheapest around though. Unfortunately best bet probably going be getting online. What muffler place was it at ? Thought decided keeping it auto and buying another one.

Thats funny was going to guess that. Know lots people had trouble with them. I would never go there. Mickeys muffler over off Old Seward and about 60th is about only place I would go. He's done lots for me and never any problems. Wish would have asked would have definetly tried talking you out of going there. I know its tempting place they have lots stuff but yours just one in a long line of bad stories I've heard. Hope they at least did good job on what they did, the quality of there work is very suspect much of the time.

I didn't even get the work done. They wanted a ridiculous price and there was some old guy who kept telling me that if I remove the rear 02 that the car's ECU will "freeze" so he won't work on it...

Thats good glad you didn't, too bad about the trim though. I don't think ecu will freeze but I do know there is something you have do once you do it so doesn't throw codes. I'm sure can find by searching on here.

Ya I searched it before hand and from what I've read the rear o2 is for emissions only; it will throw a code but it will not affect performance at all.

On a side note, I'm having a hell of a time trying to piece together a turbo back exhaust. So far I only have a 3'' Thermal R&D catback. I'm not sure which o2 housing + downpipe and test pipe (cat Delete or high flow cat) will fit. I plan on running an FP 68HTA, and I already have an FP race manifold. Any suggestions?

It's probably worth mentioning that I want a true 3" all the way back, I plan on cutting off the 2.5'' inlet of my catback and putting a 3" flange on it.

So your trying find a 3" to match up to the 3" you already have on it ? I saw lots of completes from turbo back and down pipes for 3" but not sure about just to cat or test pipe. I have friend that deleted his cat and it did make some difference but it also made it louder and a bit annoying on longer trips. Just something think about if want go test pipe route. Not sure about the rest of that stuff hopefully someone else will chime in on that.

Ya. I want a complete turbo back that's 3" all the way. One question I have is will the same o2 housing fit the T25 and the FP 68HTA. I was also hoping to find a downpipe that fits both turbo's. In regards to the test pipe, I do want a cat delete because this is only a weekend warrior car and I'm not too worried about it being loud.

Yea I missed the fact it said gst.
Gst's are so rare I just assumed it was awd.
Maybe he will part with the door cap you need?
Never hurts to ask.
Edit I just read that this was stolen at muffler city.
Last I heard a guy named Oshay worked there and he is a wanna be dsmer. He stole parts from me before and he even tried to steal a whole parts car.
Any person that has been in the dsm game in anchorage knows about him.
