You know you dsm is a piece, if you have to carry 3 of everything in it LOL.

Also to cement my membership into the Dsm club, I have a 2x4 also in the back to hold the hatch up. A gift from the PO who painted it the color of the car, no BS.

Love it! Pics!

This all reminds me of this classic piece LOL

I always have a ton of stuff in my DSM's back hatch cos I have no garage. When I didn't live with my gf, parts were stacked along the walls and shelves were packed with random car related odds and ends. I can't think of a better way to live though :p

Not sure if I love it but its wild!

Speaking of accidents, my girl had a 90 Chevy Celebrity Station Wagon. No garage, so I would store parts in her car since there was A LOT of room.

On her way home from work, a car pulled out in front of her and she rear ended them. Totaled the car. A box of cranks and crank girdles broke the rear seat. Like, bent it severely. Luckily the seat did stop it. But if it didn't, a crank would have taken her head off.

Awhile after the accident, I was thinking. Imagine if that box made it to the outside of the car during this accident. Tow truck guy would be like "damn, she hit so hard her crank fell out!!".

That is funny LOL

And I had a buddy with some over sized subs just sitting in the back of his hatchback. He slammed the brakes really hard once and they went airborne and nearly took his head off.....or so he says.

Quoted for truth LOL. :(

Only thing that goes in my trunk/hatch are groceries when I go food shopping. Other then that, it's empty.

Agreed. I don't even like having my sub in the trunk. Sooner or later, I want to build a box so I can stick it under my convertible top sac.

I don't keep anything in the car aside from the glove box which contains the following:
A.) Under dash fuse box cover
B.) Owners Manual
C.) Insurance/Registration
D.) Extra napkins or those single pack baby wipes you get from resturaunts
E.) Hair ties

Hair ties....

You have no idea how impressed the womenz are when riding with the top down and they want to put their hair back and don't have anything to tie it up with... open the glove box and BAM! Instant ####y points!

I'd love to get one of these or find a way to make one for the trunk:

I know some mustang cobras got 'em.

I remember reading about when Lofty wrecked his old 1g and didnt have his battery tied down, which was relocated to the back. Im pretty sure he said it made its way to the front seat and almost clocked him..

Cox My single 10" and my amp fit under the top. Took some finagling but it fit. I was using a truck box though.

CrashI've got 2 different "truck" boxes. I've gotten one to fit, but the box didn't have enough air volume for the sub. I just wan't happy with how it sat in there or how it sounded. If I built the right enclosure, the world will be right again. For now, I've got other projects at hand.

Also, I introduced myself to ya at the shootout and asked a few questions about your AWD swap when you first arrived. I was the guy doing an AWD swap on my 2gb Talon Spyder.
