Congrats man. Takes some dedication to go 7 months straight. Shows how fast you can get results with proper training and eating correctly (or at least I assume you ate correctly over that time period).

Thanks guys. I eat Lots of chicken, and grass fed beef.. I'm on a strict diet. 15% carbs 35%fat 50% protein.. I eat 5-6 times a day. All my meals are all balanced out.. Drink little over a gallon of water a day.. 3 servings of veggies, 3 servings of fruits and 3 servings of meat a day, all weighed out on a scale.. If you really want to cut fat, you have to be strict. Diet is the main key l, otherwise you might only get a 3rd of the results. No bs diet pills or other muscle building supplements, just a good well balanced diet and great work out plan..

Congrats dude!! I was in a similar boat. After 10 months of doing nothing due to back problems and after my second back surgery I was about 225, now I hover around 170. Nice to know I'm not the only one in Wisconsin who thinks 12oz curls is a workout (drinking beers) and realizes there are more than two food groups... cheese and beer.

I KNEW there was a reason as to why I use a gigantic cup for beer. ROFL

Keep it up, OP. :thumb:

Excellent job, good to see another person work out hard and get results. I think a diet and exercise the single hardest task to stay dedicated to and once you break that barrier you can break any barrier.

Keep it up, keep challenging yourself. One of my goals was to get a 26" waist, took me a long time, but I got it.

Just about the perfect recipe right here, and almost exactly what I recommend to people. Funny how it works when you stick with it, huh? Great job.

Biggest mistake people make, not sticking with the diet.

Diets so hard to keep up good work man I went through the same process in the last year went from 275 to 222 now. Gym is easy and fun LOL diet not so much. Ive taken a month off now gonna start up again at the end of august.

That's awesome.. I'm glad there are others out there like me who care about their health, and what not.

I put on almost 50 pounds in 7 months...that count? ;)

Everyone is trying to loose weight when I'm trying to gain weight. I'm 5'7 and fluctuate from 130- 137lbs.
I want to be around 170ish. I can't understand my body, no matter what I eat or how much I eat. I will not gain weight.
Sorry for the thread jack LOL

Every single person that says that either eats nutritionally empty shit calories, or doesn't eat enough. I promise you that you don't eat enough. If you want some advice on how to gain, I'd be happy to offer it, and write you up a diet.

Hes got a good point.. In order to gain weight you have to consume 500-1000 calories more then you usually eat a day. 3500 calories is a pound. Get a calorie counter.. Its all about when you eat, how you eat, and how much you eat.

I've always been the same way (just turned 25), except I've gained about 5-7lbs in the last year. Started a new job making more money, which in turn resulted in more eating out and going out drinking.

Exactly.

And you have to eat good quality REAL food, not suck down 3 weight gainer shakes a day, have a bag of Doritos, and go "bro I took in 4000 calories today..."

Weight gainer shakes are going to do next to nothing, as they pass through your digestive system too quickly to be properly absorbed and all you end up doing is spending $60 a month to take bigger dumps.

Good quality protein, chicken, beef, fish, good quality complex carbs, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, oatmeal, jasmine rice, brown rice, quinoa, good quality natural fats, avocados, almonds, olive oil, good green veggies, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, and so on.

I was 145 pounds, and I weigh nearly 190 now and I did it working my ass off in the gym, and eating 4500-5000 calories a day of real, good quality food.

405 bench video coming later this year.

I'm baffle about it to. I'm starting to think it's genetics. My brothers are skinny and my two son's are scrowny alsoLOL
I do eat a lot. I am Asian and rice is our main food. Along with that I do eat a lot of broccoli, beef, chicken, and fish. I never tried those protein shakes etc.
But Aslan, if you could PM me a diet to try, I'll really appreciate it.
I'm starting to think I got a tape worm in me LOL

I started to pay attention to my weight when I was like 22ish thinking it was just me. Turned out I still weigh the same I did 5-6 years ago. Im 28 at the moment. I need to go on 20/20 Medical Mysteries LOL

Give me an honest run down of what you eat in a typical day, and include approximate (don't have to be exact) times that you eat.

Edit: For example, my typical breakfast is a cup of oatmeal (dry measure), 6 eggs, a sweet potato, and a protein shake.

FWIW, Aslan used to be a skinny little thing, but now he scares me. LOL

Congrats on the loss, and especially the muscle gain, beast.

Are you asking me what I eat or the other guy?
