Hello friends !

In the past Friday night I started my car and just realized the idle was horrible, as if I was missing one cylinder. I've waited until it reached operational temperature but the car still ran harsh at idle. I even started to move it and it was horrible, but i decided to turn it off and went home to do some research;

After 1 hour I turned it on again and for my surprise it was TOTALLY different than 1 hour ago... It ran absolutely normal and I took it for a ride for approx. 3 hours. I left it in the garage.

No Check Engine was prompted to me until then.

It felt differente than I had a problem with the Power Transistor and different from problems with ISC IAC, etc... I thought about ignition....

In the Saturday I started it again in the morning and it started to behave strange again, but a little less harsh than before. This time I got a Cylinder Misfire code (don't remember which cylinder #).

_______________

So I went to an Electricist and he Sprayed some liquid all over my Spark Cables and Coil and we could see electricity going out from the Coils. He said that when the car gets hot, the coils expands, lowering the loss of spark. When cold it gets more evident.

My Spark Cables have only 3k miles NGK Blue Ones. Spark Plugs are a little older. Coil Pack has never been changed since I own the car (2.5 years)

Is there any other test I need to do to verify that it's really the coil pack that needs replacement ? I'll change my plugs also and gap them correctly;
_______________

Also, the most IMPORTANT. Until I change the Coil Pack, can I run my car even when it's randomly misfiring until the symptoms vanish like the last time ? Which are the dangers of running without spark in one cylinder fore some time ????

Thanks and SORRY for the long post !!!
