You can't compare these gears to PPG. PPG is like a work of art. This I would call some ghettofied back yard gears! haha
It basically looks like they cut down the syncro ring on the gear to fit their faceplate (dogs). They also have their own hub and sliders that they make.
Now on the hub/slider I don't like the tolerances because you can cant (tilt) the slider on the hub. If that makes sense.
I'll let you know what I think after the first pass
I need to get my butt in gear and get this block to the machine shop. I said screw it and I'll reuse the old pistons. I'm just going to have the new block machined to fit them.
