Wow I am starting to want a 1g now haha looks really sleek dude.

that looks awesome. i wish i could get away with tint like that up here :(

looks sick. to bad if i tried to tint that dark id get a hefty fine.

Technically it's 4%. It's Aegis Film, Raven 1.0. 41% solar energy rejection, 99% UV rejection. When I crack my windows, and use my solar visor in the front windshield, it's much cooler inside the car than before the tint. Without the windows down, it's still cooler...but the results aren't as dramatic.

Hell no I didn't do it myself. Had a local shop do it. Lifetime warranty, bladdy blah. $185 with the brow done. I don't have to worry about law enforcement pulling me over. I have a signed tint waiver. It's valid for that VIN # until I get rid of the car. It's attached to the registration VIA the DMV. When a cop runs my tags, it pops up that I have a waiver and I'm legal, if they check my registration, it's printed on there, and I have a copy of the waiver in my glove box.

Still getting used to driving at night...but if I got anything lighter...it would have looked flat out dumb.

how do you get a tint waiver? Is it something from your optometrist? If I tried that down here, I'm sure they would just tell me to buy some damn sunglasses. LOL

Nice! I have my 2g tinted pretty dark too... You can do anything you want to while the people in the car next to you are clueless. LOL

You lucky guy. Those tints look mint. You should murder out the headlights too. Not that dark though but smoke maybe. :thumb::thumb:

Darkest or bust when it comes to tint. Easy to see at night after you get used to it. Used to have 2 layers of 5% on and 20% on the windshield of my truck. Looked badass.

Actually plan on it once I upgrade the head lamps and do the chicklet mod. Same for the tails. And all of the incandescents bulbs are getting swapped to LED. (thanks to Bud for posting that soon to be tech article!) Especially the reverse lights to help me see through the tint while backing up. ROFL

As far as a tint waiver goes...I don't know if it's strictly a Delaware thing or what. But it has to be signed by a physician, not necessarily an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. You have to have a "valid medical diagnosis". I suffer from migraine headaches, and well as occasional ocular migraines...plus I work at an Optometrist's office. :D

looks great!!! I keep planning on having mine done at 5% in the rear and front 35%. But, I keep having little set backs on the car. Like an engine rebuild in progress.

looks bad ass but cali cops would go nuts and you would be pulled over constantly to show them your "waiver", or they would just shoot you through the window then look at your waiver. :)
