Okay, i recently put up a post on buying a new recirculating BOV, and guys instead of recommending BOV's they said i should keep my 1g and crush it. So now it is bothering me. What do they mean by telling me to crush my BOV?

Thanks:)

It means to literally crush it LOL may sound odd I know. But you put it in a vice and basically crush it. Apparently it can hold higher boost. There are other mods as well such as the dodge garage mod. Some people even combine the two.

Inside of the bov is a spring. Technically you are crushing the spring to make it hold more pressure. I taped a quarter on top dead center and crushed it in a vice until the quarter was flush into the top of my 1g bov. There should be alot of threads on this though.

curshing the 1g bov allows it to hold more boost without leaking. just search crushed bov.

you can crush it with any hard surface on the top in a vice, ive done it with a 2x4 block and a hammer.,just go carfully till the valve is almost level with the top.

LOL, thanks for the laugh zoey, need ed that tonight so bad.
