Not sure at all if this is normal and I have no where near 3599hp but this was a screenshot of a log I took today. ROFL . On a related note if anyone could tell me how this happened I would be interested.

Show that to some ricers if you want to have some fun haha.

In other threads I have seen people get this type of horsepower reading when they let off after making a pull. I haven't seen any real explanation as to why it happens.

Only close to accurate readings are going to be during a 3rd gear pull on flat level ground as well as in comparison for another log it would need to be on the same section of road.

Lol, ive never seen it that high. Ive seen mine read over 1000. Right after i get off throttle. Just a glitch in link i guess. Yea, thought it was good reading 243hp at 12 psi then bam i have over 1000! baddest dsm ever dude LOL

Don't lie to us...

We know you have this bolted on hiding somewhere. Probably inside the hatch.

^^^ baby turbo compared to what I tow behind my laser......LOL 3 foot inducer and 4 foot exducer.....measured in cfs and not minute. ;)

I have had mine read as much as 4000hp and nearly 5000tq. I am ready to take on a dragster now....LOL.

It only happens to me when I let off. I knew strokers made good power but, if it were real, my trans would have dropped to the ground in pieces with that kind of 'instant' but short burst of power. It is a funny glitch.

Wow and I was impressed with my readings hitting 800hp during a pull when I know it shouldn't exceed 500. But then again a lot of the numbers on there can get goofy sometimes

Doesn't DSMLink use the weight of the car for the calculation? Can't you just tell 'Link that your car weighs 5 tons and get a wacky-high HP/torque estimate?

LOL... dang.. the highest reading I ever got out of dsmLink was like 1250hp. Got some catching up to do! ;)

That giant turbo looks like it could have come off a boat or train engine. GIANT diesel engines in those things, my family has worked on the river for years.

How do they measure the airflow of those?

all that power and making it at under 4k RPM to boot!! LOL
