Ok guys i want to buy these seats here at the shop, and everyone says not too, but cant give me an answer. They're black Tenzo Rs for 600 bucks w/ sliders and brackets for my car. I really want opinions on these and if you have something bad to say about them please PM and not piss of the mods and get my thread closed. And also what is another nice set of seats for that price range ($600). I dont want the low grade non adjustable sparcos. Let me know guys, I need to pick up this weekend if you think they're good for the price. :dsm:

Also: 600 bucks sounds kind of high i know, but you have to consider the prices you see elsewhere for these things. Elsewhere it may say 450 bucks but thats w/out shipping and sometimes universal brackets... :thumbdown

if you ask me sparcos are the best and apc are the most affordable

p.s. some sparcos seats are adjustable

There are several different types of seats what kind of budget are you looking at?

Yes Pepboys does carry APC products but have you actually look at thier seats? Apc was around before Pepboys started carrying them. Thier seats look pretty decent. I don't know how they would hold up in the long run.

I personally have Corbeaus in my VW. But if or when i put seats in my eclipse I will go with somthing else.

go to ebay - type in eclipse seats - there's tons of sweet ones on there for less than $200 a pair

APC as in Pepboys stuff? (American Product Racing) :(

Yes Sparco has adjustible seats but not in the budget im looking at
LOL hey you cant beat 150 for a pair

Summit Racing plastic seats. Non-adjustable, hard, super light, and $70 a pair.

i reely like the DAD seats. their comfortable n pretty lite. Also the new liteglow ones their also reely comfortable. Anyone try the new bride brix 2 seats?

Don't be cheap and buy cheap seats. I know of many people who have been rearended with tenzo R's and cheap seats and the brakcets break, or the seat actually breaks. They suffer greater injurys and I wouldn't trust any ebay seat. If you want cheap that works, get some kind of summit seat. Sparco will be expensive but I have heard nothing bad about them. Corbeau also makes good seats as far as I know. I am personally getting some sparco evo seats for my car this year.

I have a set of Tenzo R Rally seats. They're okay, but I would go nicer next time. The plastic trim for the harness pass through don't hold together very well and I had to epoxy mine together. Also the Rally seats have really high sides which make it difficult to get in and out for those who don't regularly get in them. Also I've seen some red Tenzos like mine that faded very badly and had the same problems with the plastic trim. My future plans are to sell the Tenzos and buy one really nice Sparco, and reupholster a stock front seat to look like my reupholstered rear seat and interior. I'm not worried if the passenger slides around in their seat. That and I won't hear the complaining about how hard it is to get in and out anymore. All in all I have enjoyed the Tenzo seats, but I have learned, and would go a different route next time.

Ok. I too was wondering the same.

In addition to the two seats what else would you need to install?

ive seem both of those on ebay for 200'ish a pair

If your on a tight budget jazz makes some affordable super light weight seats if you don't mind them being a polymer plastic only downside is the padded covers are sold seperately another less budgeted seat option would be kirkeys, hoping to put some in my car this spring after the build.
