I'm looking for pics of the 99 eclipse front bumper cutout for the ssac or vrsf front mount
intercooler. With the bumper on or off of the car. I've been searching but its easier to just
ask people for the request cause there's
Thousands of pics I've looked threw. Thanks in advance. :thumb:

Here's my monster truck. It needs to be lowered but it's a 97 with the vrsf front mount.

Jmonet1620 thanks for the pics and the reply. How much did you have to cut off the bumper to
Make the front bumper fit properly?

DAMN this is sick, message me any details on how you covered up the foglight holes since they won't fit with the vrsf anyways it seems.
Again he is asking for how much needs to be trimmed/how much needs to be left on the bumper to mate to the intercooler core

The OP just asked for pictures with the VRSF installed. I doubt these guys are going to have exact measurements before and after. Most of these installs require test fitment then cut more if needed. I am in the process of installing a VRSF and Id say I have trimmed off at least 3" so far.

Yeah but in the following posts he seems unsure how to work what he wants, I don't expect anyone to have the exact diagram of how they cut theirs LOL but just a measurement from what's left of the bumper is possible. I'll be doing this sometime this summer so this would be useful information to have regardless even though I'm sure it's hidden on this forum somewhere

^^^ This.

You just need to start trimming a little at a time then test fit it. I couldnt tell you how much I took off since it has been such a long time. It was at least a few inches though.

Also for those who are interested in filling the fog lights here is a thread on it. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/custom-fabrication/379141-official-2gb-front-bumper-thread.html I actually had mine plastic welded by a good friend of mine who does body work instead of the way mentioned in the thread. IMO it is the better way to go about filling the holes. You dont have to worry about it cracking from being over flexed.

Ok because I am a super nice guy even though it is late and I am about to go to bed I just went down to my garage and pulled a measurement for you. Eyeballing dead center on the lip I have about 2 3/4" of material left.

Mantega4g63 that's exactly what I was thinking I don't wont an exact diagram. Because well lets face it
there really isn't one. But I would like too get a measurement of what's left of the bumper after fitting it
The car. :thumb:

Again thanks for the replys and pics. Anyone else care to chime in? :)

^^^^ you are a God. And I thank you for this dearly. :thumb: that's what I was wanting to hear. :)

To be honest, I trimmed mine little by little until I got a nice neat fit. If you also notice we all cut the black part in the center of the big opening... The hardest part of the process is broken/rusted bumper bolts. If all the bolts are not put back in then the bumper could start to sag.:coy:

Thanks for your replys and info. If it ever stops raining in N.C ill get to cut the rest of my bumper. :) :thumb:
anyone else wanna show some pics? LOL

The reason i ask you guys for all of this info is im going to try to do a write up on how to cut out the 2gb bumper for the vrsf/ssac front mount. I may even do a bumper for the 2ga eclipse /talon bumper as well. Considering i have both at my disposal. :thumb:

Anybody else like to share some pics of there 2gb eclipse's or talon's? Would like to see some more. :thumb:

I have since changed to the 2gb talon bumper so here is a pic of that. Ill get better pics shortly..
