I dont post much on here but I think this would be appropriate to post. Over the last 1 1/2 years, myself and 417 Motorsports out of Springfield, MO have been building a 1989 BMW 325i with a stock 4g63 (6 bolt) short block. If you are a member on DSMLink forums, my build thread can be found over there.

So we drove the car out to the track tonight, dont own a trailer and dont plan on it, and made 4 passes with the car. Heres the rundown....

Car: 1989 BMW 325i

Engine: Stock 6 bolt shortblock - NEVER BEEN REBUILT!
Head: Unported 1g head, Kiggly springs, Kelford 280/276 cams
Turbo: BW S366 .88 AR T4
Transmission: TH400(RWD 3 spd)
ECU: Ecmlink v3 - Huge THANKS goes out to Tom and Dave at Ecmtuning for the support!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The car is on 33lbs of boost, E85 Fuel, and is Driven to and from the Track(about 25 miles each way)

First pass, got completely off the throttle in 2nd, and got back in it and ran it down the track.

60FT: 1.37
330FT: 3.90
1/8th ET: 6.06
1/8 Mph: 106 mph
1/4 ET: 9.80
1/4 Mph: 131 mph

Second pass, Barely peddled it off the line, and then ran it out the back door.

60FT: 1.36
330FT: 3.96
1/8th ET: 6.09
1/8 Mph: 115 mph
1/4 ET: 9.42
1/4 Mph: 142 mph

Third pass, Finally got a clean pass, but i think i let out just as I crossed the line

60FT: 1.38
330FT: 3.86
1/8th ET: 5.96
1/8 Mph: 116 mph
1/4 ET: 9.26
1/4 Mph: 144 mph

Fourth pass(Record pass), actually turned the boost down on the line to try and get the car to plant the tire. Worked and the car went straight.

60FT: 1.37
330FT: 3.83
1/8th ET: 5.91
1/8 Mph: 117 mph
1/4 ET: 9.19
1/4 Mph: 144 mph

This is now the STOCK SHORTBLOCK RECORD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ill get some pictures up of the slip and Im gonna try and round up videos from tonight at the track! The car has more in it, just not enough time in the night to make more adjustments and passes.

Pictures of the car itself...

Very nice. I can't wait to see the vids on that one LOL. Get it dialed in a little more and you could probly squeeze a 8 in it.

Get we get some details on the chassis. Rear suspension, tire size, weight? Bad ass ride

LOL, that's cool with me. I know the most are going to say something about the chassis, you decided to use. I've follow your build from the begining so CONGRATS. That's a fast car, I'm sure you'll be running 8s soon. POST A LOG when your able.

Dude do you race at gateway? I live at that place and I'm sure I saw that a few times .

I honestly couldnt tell you the weight. I havent weighed it done with me in it. I would estimate around 2600-2650 with me in it.

Rear Suspension - 8.8 rear, 35 spline strange axles, MW spool, 4.10 gear, ART ladder bars, strange double adjustable. Cage in the car is a 25.5 sfi spec cage built by myself and 417 Motorsports out of Springfield, MO.

Tire size - 26x10x15 MT ET Drag

Never been to Gateway with the car, Last night was the fourth time out with the car.
