ALL CAM IDENTIFICATION QUESTIONS MERGED HERE.

Cams are not easy to identify for obvious reasons...but if you think it's worth posting pics along with measurements and specs of the cams you're using, give it a shot.

I have these cams, they came in a head I bought. The guy said they were aftermarket and he did not know what kind... does anyone reconize these markings? Thank you very much for any help you can give, I want to sell them but I do not know what they are.

one set is in my fwd motor and the other set is out of my awd car. the ones that have the 272 scrached into them the kid said there hks but that is a lie since hks has a casting that says it on there cams. but the set that has the b g stamped on it the b is stamped towards the tranny side and the g is right next to the cam gears.

Delta scribes 272 onto the end of their cam gear, right where the cam gear bolts to. They also paint a portion of the cam blue. No other cam company does that to the best of my knowledge.

Well that helps since part of the cans have blue on them. Right in the center of the cam so there pry the Delta ones. I will get some pictures of them so you can help better. One more thing how do I post pictures LOL not sure

You need to use a hosting site such as photobucket. You upload the photo to the photobucket then you can get a direct image link. You can copy and paste that link here and the pic will show up.

So I got these cams off of a guy on Craigslist. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to research them first. He told me they are Kelford 264's which i know they are not. Before I call the guy up and give him a piece of my mind, I would like to know exactly what I have. Thanks in advance!

Could be regrinds. Usually a company would leave an engraved mark of what they are. Do you see any other markings? You might have to turn the cams to see the bottom for any engraving.

Is there any blue paint on them? And like it was already said they will engrave them. But usually it's behind the cam gear.

Ok as you all can see I'm new hear, new to the DSM world, and as usual i have a question. Ok,that being said,I bought/traded and acquired a set of cams,The guy I got them from said they were EVO III cams I'm sure hes full of crap but i was getting them for a really good deal and didn't care, now that i have them I need to know what they are.I don't have access to a micrometer or anything of the such so i can not tell you what the specs are but I have taken multiple pictures and hopefully someone out their can identify them. Those are also the cam gears givin to me with the cams.If i have made a mistake please don't yell/b$#^& at me.Thank You,Im just trying to get a little help not a lecture.
