My silver 2GB is getting a new coat of Silver Pearl in a few weeks, and the wheels on it werent taken care of by the previous owner
I already have the HD lip for the car, and the calipers are to be sprayed silver (not into the whole "HEY LOOK AT MY CALIPER" red deal) but im thinking something like this



Opinions? im fine with haters too, i know il get at least one.

I know, it needs to be lowered, it needs tint, i need to ditch the clear corners for amber ones, i need foglight bezels ECT.

I like the idea..

I would leave the clear corner lamps. Would look great with the silver.

I think the amber would flow well with the orange in the wheels, It should be getting a respray soon, back to silver.
I wish I could take a few days off work so I could get this thing finished

What about black with a polished lip instead of an orange one? I think the clear corners look great and then it'll flow with the car and the wheels. If you did go with the orange lip then your wheels and the corner markers will be the only thing that's orange/burnt orange. I'm just picturing it and I don't like it personally.

Remember though, it's your car. It comes down to what you like.

Every silver car does the polished lip. Its so played out that I see a set at least once a day. I personally think black wheels with a polished lip is un origional. I have access to a paintbooth and more shades of orange than lady gaga's lipstick collection. If I dont like it I could change it in a day. Can anyone PS my wheels?

You're right, they're very played out. Have you thought about straight bronze? I saw a 2g the other day that looked just like yours with similar bronze wheels. It looked sick.

With my car, I have got it down to the gunmetal color wheels, that are currently on my car. Then I have another set of Enkie 18"s that are similar that I may have power coated in flat black. Or the same silver color as the car.
Those are my votes for a silver 2g, simple but effective.

Oh and clear corners are sick haha.

I like the orange. Have yet to see someone with an orange lip.

I think the orange lip would look sick, but the silver needs to be darker. A gunmetal color would look great.

I was thinking the same thing, but aside from the paint on the front bumper and hood, the rest of the paint is flawless. Id rather not have to worry about door jambs/bay/under hatch painting. Ive painted a few cars before, and re-painting the factory color is much more sensible

If the rest of the paint is flawless, why bother painting the whole car, why not just paint the bumper and hood? or repaint the bumper and get a CF hood?

Maybe ditch the clear corners for smoked ones. Not really a fan of the orange lip though. I think a polished lip would look better.

the front clip is being painted. I dont like Carbon fiber, if I were to get one it would be painted to match.
I settled in a dark burnt orange with smoked amber corner lenses, it doesnt scream as loud as that pumpkin orange.
